“I’m just following my instincts right now but I think so.” I reply.
“Ok, well it’s worth a shot. You’re instincts haven’t led us wrong yet.” Kysen says.
“We need to send word to the academy that we’re coming.” Kai reminds us.
“Shit I almost forgot. Does anyone have a pencil and some paper?” Dash asks.
“Sure, here.” Kysen replies handing Dash what he asked for, curiously.
Dash quickly scribbles something on the paper and then turns to me.
“Do you think you can get Knot to do her disappearing thing and take this note to the Director at the academy?”
“Yeah sure. Well I’ll ask.” I reply. “Knot!” I call out and she flies over from where she’s been letting the younger Centre’s pet her. “We’re almost ready to take the Centre’s through the portal. Would you be able to take this note to the Director at the Blood Moon academy as quickly as possible please?”
She nods her agreement and holds up her leg in my direction, it takes me a second to realise that its because she wants me to attach the note to it.
“Here.” Erin says handing me a small piece of red ribbon.
“Thanks!” I reply taking it from her and rolling the small bit of paper up so I can attach it to her leg.
Once its secure I nod and stroke her once. She disappears in a swirl of pink magic.
“Alright then lets get this show on the road.” Erin says rubbing her hands together.
“Erin and Cole’s teams gather our horses, just ours no extras and get them ready to travel through the portal. Me and the guys will start gatheringeveryone together and get them to form a line or something so its easier.” Levi orders.
“Can you grab the rest of the coins from my saddle bag and give them to Toby please. Tell him we will definitely be coming back for a visit at some point.” I ask.
“Of course.” Jett replies.
“So how are we going to do this then?” Harry turns to me as everyone starts to go off to do what’s been asked of them, leaving me and Harry to actually make the portal.
“I’m not sure. I’ll take your hand and then hopefully the goddess will let me know the next step, you direct your magic and build a portal like you normally would.” I say, wishing I could be less vague, fortunately it doesn’t seem to phase him.
“Sounds good to me.” He replies holding his hand out to me.
Once we’ve joined hands magic starts to swirl and I can feel him starting to use his magic. As I hoped the goddess whispers a spell through my mind and I repeat it out loud.
“Ad auxilium potentia aquaeductum quasi per me uti atque ostium aperi nobis salus est ominium nostrum!” I repeat with as much strength and my own power as possible.
“Holy fuck.” Harry exclaims. “Yeah that will definitely be enough power.”
Power flows through me and into him he then quickly funnels into making the portal. Just like the portal that Nichole formed at the stables in the Earth realm it starts off as several small circles all interconnected by thin channels of magic but as soon as the words to the spell are spoken the circles all join to form a giant swirling portal easily big enough to fit two of our horses side by side.
“Alright youngest through first.” Levi commands. “Hunter, Jett and Cole will lead you through, there should be people waiting to help on the other side.”
Slowly everyone starts to go through the portal until it’s just the rest of our group and our horses, Ghost having flown through with the rest of them.
“I don’t want to leave Harry and Sage here unprotected and holding the portal open by themselves.” Jett says.
“I’ll stay behind.” Levi says.
“Me too.” Adds Maverick.
Jett nods his agreement and they all lead the horses through, I say lead but our horses have apparently gotten to the point where they just follow us no need for lead reins or commands its pretty damn cool.
“How’re you holding up?” I ask Harry.
