That was absolutely amazing and I can’t wait until we can find out more about our gifts and their strengths.
Chapter Nine
Erin
“Hey guys, remember we mentioned our other brother Kysen?” Harry says, suddenly.
We’re all pouring over the books from the library trying to find any sort of spell that could get us a way to locate Sage and the others but so far we’re having no luck. If I’m being completely honest this is the first chance we’ve gotten to really sit down and try to research any way to help them. I know that they aren’t dead because otherwise the warrior tattoo would tell us or something right? Unless it has to be activated? I drag myself free from that line thinking and refocus. It won’t do me any good to start panicking about what ifs.
As I was saying this is the first chance we’ve all gotten to look into how to locate them. The Director wasn’t kidding, the work load here is demanding as fuck and not only is it academic stuff like you’d expect to find in a normal academy but it’s also the physical stuff that you’d expect from a military training academy.
It’s not easy especially when you throw in all the magic side of it as well.
Also there are uniforms! Freaking uniforms! At least they aren’t too awful I guess.
“Yeah. He’s late to start the semester because he had to do something before he arrived?” Dash replies.
“That’s the one.” Asher says not looking up from his book. He’s the final brother, they’re all pretty cool actually and we’ve sort of just clicked.
Them and Cole have especially gotten along well. Case in point, Ty walks into the main lounge of our room and immediately makes his way over to Cole kissing him lightly on the lips before turning to the rest of us.
Cole doesn’t only get kisses from Ty either and if I didn’t have my own gorgeous set of men I’d be incredibly jealous.
“What’s going on?” He asks.
“I think that Kysen is with Sage and the others!” Harry says impatiently.
“No way!” I exclaim jumping to my feet and forgetting that I was sat on Damon.
“Careful Ren, you’re going to damage important parts of me.”
“You’re fine.” I dismiss.
“He just accidentally sent something down the Bond link!” Harry replied again clearly the only who heard it.
“Wait you guys have a Bond link?” Jett says.
“Yeah we’ve always had it. Not important now.” Harry says before his eyes go slightly glazed.
His face pales and I start to get worried, Ty and Asher obviously do too because immediately they’re faces have the same expression as Harry.
“Fuck!” Ty exclaims.
“What?” I ask concerned, “What’s happening?”
“Levi’s gotten bitten by afurrure serpens canis viventem.”Harry says as he starts to urgently search through books.
“Don’t tell him that we’re with Erin and the guys.” Ty says suddenly.
“What why?” Dash replies.
“I don’t know but just not yet ok?”
“Ok dude.” He replies, we’ve built up enough trust over the last couple of days that we know he wouldn’t ask that if it wasn’t important.
“I’m so sorry guys.” Asher says sadly.
“No, he’s still alive I don’t fucking know how but he is. Sen put a stasis spell on the wound when he realised Levi didn’t immediately drop dead.” Ty says seriously for once.
