Chapter Eleven
“Alright well we’ve got to be up at the ass crack of fucking dawn tomorrow which is less than five fucking hours away!” Kyle groans when me and Erin have finally stopped laughing.
Exhaustion has finally caught up with me and five hours of sleep does not sound like enough. I need to make sure that I get as much sleep as fucking possible or I’m going to end up biting someone’s head off tomorrow. I sure as shit hope they serve coffee.
“They serve coffee right?” Kai asks sounding slightly panicked and echoing my thoughts, he loves the stuff as much as I do.
“Oh yeah don’t worry they aren’t complete heathens!” Kyle chuckles.
“Thank fuck!” I say.
“Don’t forget to take your schedules!” Levi says pointing to a table by the door.
“Thanks dude. We’ll meet you in the hall for breakfast, we can show you where it is then.” Jett says fist bumping Levi on his way past.
Before they all go out of the door they pull on their human glamour and I don’t understand how all the students here do it. I hope like hell they cover that in a class tomorrow.
I sleepily wave from the couch and the warmth of Hunter’s chest making him chuckle. He effortlessly picks me up and starts walking me down the hall of bedrooms.
“Night guys!” I say my voice tired.
The guys chuckle as they all call out goodnight.
“Open your eyes, Titch. We found your room when we came back before the ritual earlier.” Mav says and I open my eyes unaware that I closed them.
“Huh? What makes you think it’s mine?”
“Well it’s got a giant bed in it for one.” Hunter chuckles opening the door right at the end of the hallway.
My mouth falls open.
“Holy fuck that’s not a bed, that’s like five!” I exclaim makingthe guys chuckle.
“Come on let’s test the giant bed out,” Mav says and grins at my expression, “not like that you filthy minded woman. I’m not up for you setting something on fire, Hunter wolfing out or me doing whatever the hell it is that I do.” He chuckles and Hunter joins in when I pout.
“Well fine, if you’re going to bring fucking logic into it, damn!” I grumble, smirking.
Hunter puts me down and I waste no time in stripping down to my panties and climbing under the covers.
“It’s going to be a long night!” Hunter chuckles.
“Don’t even try that, you guys are going to be out cold as soon as your head’s hit the pillow just like me.” I chuckle and watch greedily as they both strip down to their boxers and climb in on either side of me, pulling me close and wrapping me in their arms.
I was right, both of them fall asleep before even I do and I quickly follow. Hoping for a dreamless sleep, ever since the kidnapping with Brent I’ve had nightmares about how wrong it could really have gone. Fortunately they’re gradually becoming less frequent though.
Just before sleep fully takes me under I feel the familiar weight of Knot landing on my side and settle down. Helping me to fall into a dreamless sleep.

“What in all that is fucking holy is that noise!?” I hear Kai yell from somewhere in our rooms over the blaring alarm that sounds like a fucking air raid horn.
“Are we under attack?” Jax asks groggily sounding more excited than worried.
“No you idiots it’s the morning alarm.” Levi chuckles somehow managing to sound exasperated and amused at the same time.
“Oh, that makes sense I guess.” Jax replies sounding disappointed and making me giggle.
The alarm finally cuts off and Hunter and Mav give me one last squeeze, Mav kissing me thoroughly since I’m facing him before we all get up and start to get ready for the day. I didn’t get a good look at our schedules last night but I’m assuming that we’re going to be spending less time sitting and more time doing. Especially if what we saw when we arrived was any indication, this is a training academy for law enforcement of some kind after all. Although who exactly we work for I’m not entirely sure.
