Elden raises his brows, reaching an arm around Flora’s waist, his hand dangerously low. “I like the way you think.” He makes a shooing gesture with his hands towards Liam and me. “Now go and make grandchildren!”

“Dad!” Felix groans.

“Actually, I was just about to ask him for a dance,” I chuckle, unable to contain my amusement anymore. I stopped being embarrassed by this family a long time ago.

“Good, good!” My dad jumps into the conversation. “My daughter is way too young to have sex! Although I do want grandchildren… but Steve, Steve can provide me with some.”

“Brian, Steve is only seventeen,” my mom deadpans and looks at my dad in disbelief. “Also, Annie and Liam have marked each other and just married. How innocent do you believe she is?”

“You can mark someone without mating with them,” he points out desperately.

I glance at Liam before patting my father’s arm in a motherly gesture. “That ship sailed a while ago,” I say in a matter-of-fact tone, not minding the look of panic in my dad’s eyes. My mom and Flora burst into laughter. I turn on my heels, tugging at Liam’s hand to pull him with me for a dance.

“So,” he snuggles an arm around my waist, pulling me close. “We have marked each other – check. Become Alpha and Luna – check.”

“Inauguration ceremony – check,” I add with a grin.

“Married – check.” He looks at me full of love. “So, what comes next?”

“Graduation,” I say before allowing a playful smile to curl around my lips. “And then our own little football team.”

“Can’t wait for that to happen,” he pulls me closer again while we move towards the dance floor. “I can’t wait.”
