Ella gives me the thumbs up. "Dave would approve."

“The underlying tone almost looks like the color of her eyes,” my mother mutters in awe.

The lady nods eagerly. “That’s why I thought this would be her dress.” She looks happy. “I can alter the design of the lower part a bit, have it snugger around her hips to show off her hourglass figure and then have it flow down.”

Flora smiles at me. “How do you feel?”

I turn a bit in front of the mirror, feeling embarrassed. “Like a princess,” I admit quietly.

I think Flora and my mother are close to high-fiving each other. Dora seems content too. We discuss some details, and she promises to have the dress ready on Friday.

Once we are back home, I drop into my bed, for once glad that Liam is still working, because goddess, I need some rest after hours of shopping. I have completely forgotten how exhausting that is. At least I have a dress now, one thing less to worry about. In a few days, three representatives of the Council will visit us and hopefully answer a few of my questions concerning my gifts. Even thinking about it makes me a bit nervous.

Eventually, I doze off, but not for long though. I made sure to set my alarm, and after about an hour it goes off. I crawl out of bed and towards my notebook, working on an assignment for my civil law class. I try not to forget my college classes. Gladly, I can do a lot of them online now, but I still want to spend some effort and time on them and graduate with good marks. I want to learn as much as possible to use it later on for our pack.

A few hours later, Liam appears and snaps me out of my learning haze. “Someone forgot about their poor neglected mate.”

“Is that poor neglected mate you?” I giggle, wrapping my arms around his neck and allowing him to sweep me up in his arms.

“Yes,” he nods earnestly. “I feel very neglected. Much neglected. Super neglected.”

I laugh. No one knows how cute and hilarious he can sometimes be when it’s just us. It’s our little secret, though, a side he only shows to me.

“Keep that thought,” he smiles. “But before we get into action, I would like to let our wolves out. There is a place I want to show you.”

I beam instantly, and Leah seems into this idea as well. I’m also more than a bit curious about what he wants to show me. I still don’t know every part of Red Claw pack and am eager to learn more about the pack area.

Today we are all alone. Liam has told Dante, Ella, Jun, and Ari to watch the borders to give us some privacy. Once out of everyone’s sight, we take off our clothes and shift into our wolves. I allow Leah to take over and retreat a bit so that she can have some well-deserved time with Fenris. They run through the forest and meadows of Red Claw, chasing each other while snuggling every so often.

Eventually, Liam and I take over again, and Liam leads us to a hidden lake. It’s not like Silverlake, not that open under the moonlight. It’s more like a hidden gem amidst a clearing in the forest. It’s surprisingly big, and easily dominates the whole clearing. There is moss covering the rocks and clear water streaming into the lake from a stream. The stream leads to a waterfall, splashing down over some huge rocks.

It's an unusually warm and mild day for early spring. The sun is shining down on us, making everything glow in the sun’s light. A single willow grows next to the lake, throwing its shadow over parts of the clearing. I shift back into my human form, my eyes wide in awe.

“Do you like it?” Liam asks with a smile.

“I… this looks like something out of a fantasy book,” I say breathlessly. “Otherworldly almost!”

“I found it with Dante when Emmet and some other wolves led us through the pack grounds.”

“Can we swim in there?”

“Of course,” he reaches out his hand, pulling me into the water. It’s cold at first, but soon our bodies adapt. It’s surprisingly deep too. I thought we could stand in there, but soon my feet don’t reach the ground anymore. I can swim well, but I still enjoy having Liam’s arm around my waist to keep me above the water.

I wrap my arms around Liam’s neck, pressing my body closer to his. I can feel his erection against my naked form. Goddess, I need to feel him inside me. I want him to just take me on the spot.
