Story: Scarred Assassin
“You’re not laughing, I guess you’re not finding me funny. That bruised my ego a bit, but I’ll be okay. Anyway, you know I’ll always be here for you, do you need anything from me?”
“Your dead body,” I bit and he dramatically hyperventilated.
“How could you say that to me? I’m your best friend, don’t be mean. And besides, you can’t kill me if I run back to where I came from.”
“Bye Chan.” I sighed out, my eyes struggling to keep open and a yawn clawing at my throat.
“Bye baby. Update me, I love you.”
“Never ever say that to me ever again.” I hung up before he could say anything else.
I checked the list.
I had written them accordingly; Cedric, the father, topping the list and Jayden, the last son, ending it, but Cedric had ‘pending’ written in brackets at the front of his name.
I planned to kill him last, make him lose everything—his businesses, properties and sons, and murder him last in cold freezing blood.
He could still chill around for a while.
I checked my list to see the next name I wrote; ‘TROY ANTONIO.’
Troy was the manager of one of his father’s companies and the CEO of his own company. He was involved in all dirty businesses like sex trafficking, drugs and alcohol sales, guns exchange and other dark trades.
He was thirty-three years old with blonde hair, reddish brown eyes and pale skin. He was unmarried, but rumored to be dating three girls who knew each other and apparently had no problems sharing him and his money.
He still visited pubs to spend time with strippers and harlots. I mean who spent time looking for other bitches when you have three girls that are ready to cooperate for the money? It’s Troy Antonio guys.
The Antonios’ were full of shit.
He was arrested a few months ago for being involved in the gun battle that happened in the southside, which killed twelve innocents and injured three.
Troy wasn’t present in the country at the time of the incident, but the gang leader of the shootout said he had supplied them with the guns they used. The allegations were dismissed later, after he sued the gang leader for defamation.
I laughed. He was definitely involved, he just happened to pay the right corners.
Now that I was ready to begin my mission, I was going to need some help. I’d kill them all myself, but I needed back up. Picking my phone up, I dialed ‘Asshole’ and after three rings, his raspy voice wrapped around me, causing me to scrunch my face in disgust.
“What,” he snapped at me and I snorted.
“I want to see you. I’ll send you the address soon, come with Yusuf.”
“What the fuck, bitch! Haven’t I told you never to talk to me that way again? I am ten years older than you, ten fucking years.”
“Yeah, yeah. Ten years older and still can’t do anything right. I will send the address now, come with Yusuf or I swear to God… well you know me,” I threatened and shrugged, knowing that he was fully aware of what I was capable of.
He sighed in defeat. “I’ll call Yusuf.”
“Good boy, I’ll send the address.”
“Don’t you ever…” I hung up on him. I was tired of talking, I had spoken enough for a day. I brought out my cigarette packet and lit a stick, as I picked up Troy’s picture and pinned it to the small board in my room.
He dies in a week.
JAYDEN
That Vixen.
That Vixen had been making me feel things ever since she left the hotel. When I opened my eyes, I found out that she had taken my shirt, leaving me with her torn panties and I had not been able to get her off my mind even though it was four in the afternoon.
