Alpha Lawn’s expression was grim. "I don’t know about Tristan, but my own daughter, whom I love so much, stabbed me in the heart."

The first reaction was shock that permeated through the atmosphere as all attention focused on Scarlet.

Alpha Calypso could still not believe it and asked for clarity. "Alpha Lawn, are you saying she betrayed you, or did she actually stab you in the heart with a dagger?"

There was no pity in Alpha Lawn’s eyes as he glared at his last daughter. "Before she arrived, those two already hit me into a state of unconsciousness, but I could hear everything they said."

The two warriors wished they had not come. For something like this to happen in a pack like this meant death.

"She was the one who stabbed me last. In the heart because she wanted me dead," Alpha Lawn said coldly, the glares on Scarlet were like daggers.

It was as if they were going to kill her with their eyes. She turned to her side where Tristan sat.

"No. Tristan is the one who arranged everything. He was the one who paid the warriors."

Not surprised due to how their love turned bitter over a month ago, he could not stand for her either.

"And you brought the idea. We are in this together so don’t pin it all on me," Alpha Tristan yelled. Ashley could not sit down and listen. Rising to her feet, she added her voice.

"Then you set up Valerie, brutalized, disgraced, and almost executed her because of your stupid affair? Scarlet, I wonder what the color of your blood is."

Even if Tristan would betray Valerie, it was well understood, but not Scarlet. As to whether her tears were real, no one could tell as Scarlet cried. "I was na?ve. I’m sorry."

Ashley did not come for excuses but justice. "No, Scarlet, na?ve people don’t hurt others. You are a traitor and a murderer. You betrayed your family."

Ludwig was thanking his stars for rejecting Scarlet. Who knew what embarrassment he would have been facing by now?

"Ashley, our relationship has been hell," Tristan begged, hoping that would gain them some sympathy, but they were far from having it, just as no one had sympathy for Valerie. "The moon goddess already punished us enough."

Ashley scoffed. "Did I hear you right?" She asked mockingly. Valerie was still coiled in Denzel’s arms as if the matter did not concern her.

During that time, she stood alone among the hundreds of pack members and all the guests who had come to attend the coronation.

Her desperate cries were met with sneers. Today, she not only had the man she loved by her side but also her father and elder sister standing up for her, so what did she have to do?

"You could have pursued your love interest without offending anyone but chose to take people’s lives. For as long as you are alive, you have not been punished enough," Ashley declared.

"Yes, yes, yes," those in attendance were screaming, cheering them on. They all agreed that Scarlet and Tristan should be punished.

It was the same as when the pack members turned against Valerie. Tristan and Scarlet were facing their portion of the pain and shame they caused her.

At least they had each other when Valerie had no one. "Please, have mercy, I’m your blood too," Scarlet cried, her father smiled bitterly.

It was not enough that he almost died because of Scarlet. She had gone ahead to almost execute her sister.

So, what if the moon goddess had not paired Valerie with Alpha Denzel at that moment?

"After what you did, I have the understanding that family isn’t only those related by blood but those who love unconditionally. I hadn’t had a lot of rapport with Alpha Denzel or even visited the Evergreen pack after the death of his parents, but to make Valerie happy, he made so many sacrifices."

He recalled how everything Denzel did was because of Valerie. It was clear that he loved her and would do anything to make her happy.

"Not to talk about the twins who saved my life. Raven and Ray. They never knew me and were rogues but knew how to love. Their parents accepted me and took care of me," Alpha Lawn recalled aloud.

Due to Denzel calling out Raven earlier, eyes focused on her, but only the Evergreen pack members knew about Ray.

Alpha Lawn was not done and continued to speak.

"When Ashley found out about my condition, she dropped all her dreams to stay at my side.

She, whom I had disowned because you told me that she said she hated the pack and preferred the human world.

" Ashley and Valerie were shocked. No wonder their father was so ruthless by then, thinking Ashley disrespected the pack.

"I never said that," Ashley quickly said, a wedge of shame formed on Scarlet’s face as Alpha Lawn continued to speak.

"I discerned that from all the sacrifices you made," he replied to Ashley before his attention went back to Scarlet.

"So don’t you dare preach to me about blood. I, Alpha Lawn, order the execution of Scarlet and Tristan."

Both Scarlet and Tristan’s cries blended together. "Noooooo."

However, a calm voice spoke, and strangely, it rose above the screams. "Please wait."

Everyone focused on Raven as Alpha Lawn’s gaze softened. "What is the problem, Raven?" He asked so softly, Scarlet was jealous.

This was how her father used to treat her, but she seemed to have been replaced.

"I suggest that you banish them to suffer like the rogues," Raven suggested. Many people agreed except those who really knew how the rogues operated.

"It’s a nice idea, sweetheart, but these two do not deserve a second chance. They would lead a lot of attacks if given the chance," Alpha Lawn explained to her. Scarlet understood that today would bring their death.

"So, you are going to kill us," she said with a strange resolve, wiping the tears from the corner of her eyes.

"Just as you wanted Valerie dead," Alpha Lawn agreed, but Scarlet suddenly burst into laughter.

"What if I told you that your Luna did not die and is alive?"
