Alpha Denzel was surprised that Alphas were arriving so early in the morning.

Usually, the packs far away would set off around this time or later and arrive in the evening, or some even late at night.

Others would arrive in the morning, which was why the event was scheduled for mid-morning.

The mindlink from the warrior at the gate clarified everything.

’It’s Alpha Idris, Alpha Troy, Luna Adira, Luna Fernanda, and the Alpha King Spartan.’

Denzel quickly got off the bed after pecking Valerie on the cheek.

He had to receive them himself, as their presence meant support.

These were his most trusted allies, and he was amazed by their early morning surprise.

It warmed his heart that they drove through the night to arrive in the morning to give them all the necessary support.

He quickly replied to the mindlink. ’Let them in.’

There was no training today due to the coronation tomorrow, and looking at Valerie, Alpha Denzel smiled.

Tomorrow, she would be privy to the mind link, and any power hidden in her would also show forth. Those lakeside rogues have not seen anything yet.

The pack house was always neat, but it was obvious it had been cleaned again.

The rooms had equally been prepared, and there were maids in waiting.

Alice was helping Burke in every way she could with the arrangements of the pack house, as the professional organizers were handling the pack decorations.

Pack members were preparing their attires for the coronation, so practically everyone was busy, including the catering companies in and around the pack.

No one would have time to cook, so arrangements were being made with all the top chefs there were.

Aside from Alpha Denzel’s coronation, which he was gloomy all through because he had not found his mate, this was the biggest the Evergreen pack and any other pack would ever witness. Alpha Denzel put on casual clothes and went to receive his guests.

"Alpha Denzel," Idris said and greeted with the fist as Adira bowed slightly in greetings, same as Alpha Troy.

Luna Fernanda hugged Denzel tightly, exuding the warmth of a mother.

"I’m so proud of you," she said in a teary voice.

"Wherever my sister is, I know she would also be very proud of you.

" Denzel was emotional and hugged her tighter too.

It felt good to not hide their relationship, and Luna Fernanda was going to be the only mother figure in the pack for both Denzel and Valerie. "I’m so glad you came."

"I wouldn’t miss it for anything." When they finally broke from the hug, Denzel looked at all of them with gratitude. "Thank you all for coming so early. You are the people I need most at this moment, and thank you, Alpha Idris and Troy, for having my back when I was away."

"Any time, Denzel," Idris responded with a smile. He looked more responsible and even changed his hairstyle. His hair was also changed from the platinum blonde to its original jet black color.

"Alpha King, I was honestly expecting you in the evening," Alpha Denzel said to the middle-aged man. Also, their coming without any bodyguards showed the level of trust they had for Denzel.

"Well, I began clearing my desk as soon as I received the invitation, so here I am," the Alpha King Spartan shook his hand as he spoke.

"Let’s go in. I would have the maids prepare a quick breakfast for us while we talk," Denzel said, knowing he never liked food prepared by others.

Luna Fernanda could not allow him to compromise because of the event.

The maids already wheeled their luggage to their rooms. "Denzel, get someone to help me in the kitchen. I will make breakfast for everybody."

Denzel smiled, not refusing her kindness. He would have starved until he had time to cook if not for her. "Where is Luna Valerie?" Adira asked, and Alpha Denzel smiled a little.

"Still sleeping."

"That’s right. She needs all the rest. It’s called beauty sleep in case you don’t know," Luna Fernanda said.

Denzel chuckled. He knew those few things. Adira was anxious to see Valerie but had no choice but to wait.

"Okay. I will help Luna Fernanda in the kitchen until she wakes up."

"Before then, I want us all to have this talk," Alpha Denzel requested. Alpha Denzel took them to the large luxurious living room and temporarily discharged the maids from their duties.

"You all should excuse us for a moment."

As soon as they left, Alpha Denzel explained everything to them pertaining to Alpha Lawn and Ashley.

"This is good news, but Tristan and Scarlet would have to pay," Spartan said, everyone else agreed, but Adira was still in shock.

"You mean that Ashley is here? Can I see her?" She could not believe it and wanted to see Ashley with her two eyes, having heard that she looked a lot like Valerie.

"I will introduce you. The two of you can help Valerie with the preparations for her coronation," Denzel said.

Adira was bubbling with excitement. Valerie had helped during her coronation, making her eager to reciprocate the kindness.

"I will start making breakfast," Luna Fernanda said, and went to the kitchen.

It wasn’t her first time here, but it had been very long, especially when Denzel forbade her before for her own good. Now, Conrad was dead, and there was peace and tranquility.

"That’s the first exciting thing I heard you say. I can’t stand the men talk," Adira said, running up the stairs.

This used to be her home, but she was now a visitor. Life was indeed filled with uncertainties.

Alpha Denzel discussed the program lineup with the Alpha King since he would be the one guiding the emcee in the things to do.

Then he caught up with Adira to take her to Ashley’s room, but even after several knocks, she refused to open the door.

Sensing something wrong, Alpha Denzel forced the door open, but the room was empty, and the bed neatly laid. Ashley was nowhere in sight.

’Burke, where is Ashley?’ A mindlink invaded Burke’s mind from Alpha Denzel, but the response was disheartening.
