I find Alara joyfully jumping on her bed "Come join me" she beams when I walk into the room. Her joy was contagious, I ran and jumped up and down with her laughing. "This room is incredible" she squeals. I look around the room and smile it was way nicer than the one we had downstairs.

The walls were the same as Cain's room and the layout was more or less identical except for the two double beds across from each other and no bookshelves. We let out a squeal when the bed gave way to our weight and fell to the ground.

A loud thud echoed in the room causing Alara and I to burst into laughter. "Do you think Prince Cain will be mad?" I ask when I catch my breath. "I think he likes you so no" Alara laughs.

"Ugh I have to go get Ares again" I groan. "Ares? Is Orson away?" Alara squints at me. I just nod "He is attractive" she smiles mischievously at me. "So pursue him" i smile "I already have a lover" she giggles.

"What? Who?!" I move closer to her. "The Prince sent him away, so you will meet him when he gets back" she reassures me. "Now go get Ares" she basically pushes me out of the room.

I wonder down to the caretaker's floor for the second time today. My heart starts pounding as I raise my hand to knock on the door. Before I can it swings open Ares looks at me smiling.He steps aside to let me in and closes the door. "I could hear your labored breathing" he smirks.

"Oh well it was a long walk" I mumble. "Didn't think I would see you so soon" he moves closer to me. I notice I had unconsciously started backing away "How could you hear my breathing?" I try to say words. "Wolves have good hearing" he stops right in front of me. "You're a werewolf?" I whisper.

Ares smiles this time baring his fangs "Do you wanna see?". I nod and my mouth drops as Ares backs away and becomes a large white wolf, his eyes still the same. "Wow" I say as I slowly move toward him, he moves closer til my hand lands in his fur.

It was so soft, I run my hand through it enjoying the touch.

I look at him and press my head against his snout, like I used to do to our dog daisy.

When I open my eyes, Ares is no longer in wolf form and has his arms around me.

My heart races as his face is close to mine and our lips are nearly touching.

"I um actually came to ask you something" I try to steer my thoughts away from his lips.

"Oh" he raises his eyebrow "I though its because you fancy me".

"Wh.." I was cut off by his lips on mine.

His lips were soft, the kiss gentle and tender right when I was getting into it he pulled us up and broke the kiss.

A smile plastered on his face "What can I do for you Nova?". I blink a couple of times wondering if I had imagined it but my tingling lips tell me otherwise. "You kissed me" I utter. "I've never kissed a hue-man before, it was enjoyable" he responds.

"Another bed is broken and I need you to fix it" I blurt out.

"Cain broke another one?" he sounds surprised.

"Um no actually I did well Alara and I" I nervously laugh.

"It's the room next to Prince Cain's" with that I run out the door and don't stop running until I get into our room.

"Nova!" Alara yelps, I think I scared her.

"What happened?" she waves me over. "Ares kissed me" I whisper. Alara starts clapping excitedly. When don't I join her she asks "Was it awful?" I shake my head and just then there is a knock on the door. "Oh god its him" she laughs and gets up to open the door.

Ares walks in and glances at me before greeting Alara and looking at the bed.

I wander into the bathroom and lock the door not wanting to be in the same room as Ares especially with how he works.

When I hear him take his leave I peek out.

"He is gone" Alara laughs and pats the space on our now king bed.

"Ares said this would be better for jumping on" she informs me.

"Oh nice" I shrug. "Tell me what transpired" she demands. I begin to tell her how the innocent curiosity to see a wolf caused a kiss. Alara couldn't stop laughing at how shy I became after telling the story. "Are we allowed to take lovers?" I finally ask her.

"Of course, why wouldn't we?" she responds. "Prince Cain seemed annoyed that I paid attention to Ares" I told her. "Mmmh well he likes to be the center of attention" she shrugs. I guessed that mad sense, I mean I also didn't answer him when he addressed me so it's understandable.
