The woman jumps into Cains arms and he opened them I'm assuming because he didn't want her to fall. Alara looked pissed off, I wondered what was up with that. This was exactly what I was talking about about the universe seemed to like throwing things at me. Who the fuck was this bitch?

Saying nothing I get up and start walking out of the room Alara following. Cain pries the woman off him and drops her. "My love" he comes to stand in front of me. I raise an eyebrow telling him I'm listening. As I looked at his beautiful face he seemed worried, I was literally done with the day.

"You are all I desire" he says mentally.

When I don't think anything he says "Perhaps I can come with you two to change?

" he says softly. "Cain who is this bloodied woman introduce us" the woman starts walking toward us.

"Whatever this is no, I'm not dealing with it" I tell him mentally. "Not now Aurelia" Cain responds to her.

"What about the party?" Eve asks. "The presents can be sent to our room, the party is over" Cain says taking my hand and leading us out of the throne room. "Alara can we have privacy?" Cain asks when Alara closes the door behind us. "No" she shakes her head. Alara was being bold.

Cain sighs and then silently watches me change Indi and set her on the bed before wiping off the blood then putting on an oversized hoodie and shorts.

"Cain why do you entertain her, she clearly wants to bed you and she is the worst. Kick her out Nova is already dealing with a lot" Alara says.

"I can't just kick out my childhood friend" he replies.

"Why not? You were eager to kick Emmett out" she presses.

"Have you met a banshee? I have to handle it delicately so Indira's little ears aren't hurt" he says.

"Well, while you figure that out Alara, Indi and I are going to talk to the elven community, if Aurelia is a problem Indi doesn't need to be around that" I say.

"Nova, you can't..." he starts. "I can't what protect my daughter?" "I was going to say leave when things get hard" he replies. "Excuse me?! You just said Indi's little ears could be hurt if that woman screams and I'm the problem?"."I am not saying you are the problem" he huffs.

"Okay then it's decided we leave in the morning, we can't just pause the plan because random uninvited people seem to like to invade our home" I say as Alara begins packing a bag.

"Why are you mad Nova?" he asks. "I am not mad" I say.

Cain grabs me and pulls me into him, no his sexiness was not going to break me.

"Do not make me ask you again" he growls.

"Why are you mad?" I ask instead of answering.

"My wife walked out of the party I threw for her and my daughters life was in danger and my wife threw her wedding ring at me" he states.

"Like I said I was done with the day and killing someone dampens the mood".

"Are you sure you are okay, we can talk about it.

I know he meant something to you that couldn't have been easy" he says softly.

"It was actually the easiest decision I have ever made but thanks for the offer".

"Have you killed before? Why are you not bothered by it?

" he questions. "No and I don't know my only thought was Indira's safety and I warned him when I went to talk to him earlier.

I always warn once and then the consequence is the consequence" I shrug.

"You were like this on earth?" Alara asks. "Yes it's called fuck around and find out" I reply. "Do you really want to go back to Earth?" Cain questions. "No Cain I just said what Emmett wanted to hear, I would never leave you well unless you cheated or leave Indi" I hug him.

Cain pulls away his face serious "Do not ever take this off again".

He then grabs my hand and puts my wedding ring back on.

"You will leave in a week to the eleven community" he continues.

"Cain I am leaving tonight this is not..

." I start to protest. A knock interrupts us and Alara goes to open the door.

"The King and Queen are busy" she tells the person.

The woman from earlier pushes past her and enters the room.

"Cain you have been gone so long" she pouts.

"I know you did not just barge into my bedroom" I snap.

"I'm sorry who are you?" she asks innocently.

"Aurelia this is my Queen" Cain says. "Queen?

You are married?" I hear the annoyance in her voice.

"Yes" Cain replies. "Thats wonderful" I watch as she forces the words out of her mouth.

"Is there something you needed?" Cain questions.

"To spend time with you of course silly" she giggles.

"The King is spending time with his family" Alara grabs her by the arm leading her toward the door. "Family?" she questions.

This bitch literally saw me holding Indi.

"My love Indi and I are going to go eat some cake" I kiss him on the lips.

Walking past Aurelia, we walk to the kitchen.

"Why did we leave them in there?" Alara questions.

"Cain is a big boy" I respond. "Why don't you like her?

" I ask "Aurelia is literally the worst in every way" she replies.

"Her family sought refuge in my community, she is rude, mean and vain.Plus she likes to take what isn't hers" Alara hisses.

I had never seen Alara like this but then again no one seemed to irritate her being in this manner.

I knew Aurelia was bad news, I just didn't have the energy to deal with it.

So let the games begin I guess... but no seriously after having Indi I promised myself I would be the bigger person. So bigger person Nova here we come!
