After our tryst we take a quick shower and I slip into cute short white satin dress.

Cain and Ares hold my hand as we walk to the throne room.

"My Queen, I would like to apologise for earlier we should have knocked" Tariq says as he sees us.

"You are forgiven" I reply as I sit in my throne next to Cain.

Vato starts rambling on the threat level and who is leading the army and things of that nature.

I had stopped listening, all I could think about were my Indie, Albie and Kairo.

As I am they all appear in my arms. I smile down at them and my heart hurts at what I must do.

Waiting until Vato is finished I am about to to speak when everyone starts growling for a reason I had not heard.

"Silence!" I couldn't even hear myself think.

"My Queen where is your bracelet?" F?anor asks.

"F?anor not now" I sigh. What was the big deal Malachi was gone.

"Theron, Alara and Tariq, you will take Indire, Albie and Kairo to the elven community they will be safe there.

I don't know what will happen but I don't want them there to be used again us or harmed" I reply.

"I am staying by your side" Alara says firmly.

"Alara..". I start. "I am staying by your side" she repeats.

It was hard to argue with Alara but I would want to be by her side if the roles were reversed.

"Theorn, Eve, Tariq and Astrid, take Attor and go to the elven community" they all nod and wait til I have a bag packed for them.

"I will not let any harm come to them" Astrid hugs me.

I hug my babies one by one giving them lots of kisses and not try to freak out to alarm Indie.

My sweet girl take care of your brothers for me" I kiss her forehead.

Shia says a spell that will keep Attor and everyone cloaked until they get to the elven community which I am thankful for.

"I thought they might want to have this" Ares hands the music box to Tariq.

I start tearing up as I realised I didn't know when I would see them again.

"My Queen you must keep it together" Shia says softly.

Gawd I wanted to strangle her. To distract myself I send a magic letter to the elven community to give them a heads up.

"Mama will make sure they are well taken care of" Alara reassures me as we watch them climb on Attor and fly away.

"Baby where is the bracelet F?anor gave you?

" Cain asks once we couldn't see them any more.

"I took it off, I am allowed to change jewellery" I snap.

"I like it can you put it back on?" Cain tries.

"You have never said that before what's going on?

" I rub my temples. "It is a pretty bracelet" he mumbles.

"F?anor!" I yell. "Yes my Queen" he bows.

"Malachi is gone I do not want to wear the bracelet anymore" I test the water.

I watch as F?anor begins to look nervous.

"Out with it!" I demand. F?anor sighs before he begins his confession.

"I had met a lot of humans but none like Nora.

No other human I had met had her eye color making her unique or so I thought.

Nora and I had just gotten into a lovers quarrel and she started to glow much like you did.

The thing is I don't think Nora knew she had magic at all".

"I dedicated a lot of time studying why this would be the case and the only thing I found was a way to help control the magic.

I made Nora that bracelet and gifted it to her.

Her eyes remained the same but she didn't glow when her emotions were high" he says.

"Did Cain know?" Cain asks. "No one knew, I feared if word got out she would be harmed" F?anor sighs.

"I thought the bracelet was because of Malachi" Alara replies.

"Well yes and no. Malachi uses dark magic and I wanted Nova's magic hidden from him so he couldn't use her.

What I didn't know was that she had the magic because he give it to her upon saving her life" he scratches his head.

"Nova glows when she wears the bracelet, is that good or" Ares questions.

"It appears the magic is stronger in a host body that is aware and resilient.

The bracelet keeps Nova's magic from bubbling over instead I suppose".

"Clear the room I wish to speak to wife" Cain orders after a few minutes.

"Nova I think you should go to the elven community, let me handle this" Cain says.

"Absolutely not! The babies are in good hands.

I am staying with you" I say firmly. "Besides if there is anyone who can end this quickly it's Rinus and or me" I state. "I will not allow it" Cain growls.

"I can keep you safe with my magic if I am here, our children need a father" I say softly.

"They also need a mother" he replies. I am about to protest but Cain grabs me and kisses me passionately.

"I'm sorry my love" he whispers. I didn't know what he was sorry for until he pushed me and stepped away revealing that I was standing in a glowing prison.

"Cain, what are you doing?" I ask. "I love you Nova, this will be over soon" he blows me a kiss and leaves the room.

I try to get out but fail miserably. What the fuck didn't I have more powerful magic than Shia, and what was the point of having this magic if i couldn't get out of this type of situation?

! "My Queen I apologise the King knew you would try something like this so he had me give you something to weaken you" F?anor replies. "What" I whisper.

After screaming for an hour I slump to the floor and wrap my arms around my legs.

Maybe I should have gone with my babies at least I would have some company.

"Nova" I hear someone whisper. "Leave me alone" I mutter.

"We are here to break you out" Alara squeals.

How could Alara stay so clam and positive the majority of the time I had legit seen her upset like twice.

"Do you two have death wishes? If Cain wanted my help he wouldn't have had me drugged or put in here" I turn away from them.

The faster he dealt with the threat the faster I could get out of here and yell at him.

"Nova you are not a quitter and we all know you and I can end this without bloodshed" I hear Rinus say.

"Didn't we just kill those two guards?" Alara asks.

"Well starting now no bloodshed" Rinus says.

"Alara you killed someone?" I turn to face them.

"I did drowned him with the water in his body" she smiles.

What kind of pep talk was this? "So what do you say Nova?

" Rinus smiles. "My magic was weakened how am I supposed to get out?

" I stare at him. "Alara is going to heat up the water in your stomach and you will feel uncomfortable and then throw up, you will then drink this.

It will give you your strength back and you will sing the song and scare everyone into submission" he smiles excitedly.

"Or give one of your really great speeches" Alara adds.

My stomach suddenly feels upset and I feel the urge to throw up and do.

No warning, these two were awful at this stuff, way too eager.

I then see the liquid from the cup start tricking out and towards me.

It pools around the barrier and then squeezes through and spins around.

I open my mouth and the liquid falls in.

I feel awful for a brief second and then instantly better.

"Rinus is that good, her whole body is glowing and the air around her?

" Alara points. I place my hands on the barrier and it melts as I walk through it.

"What have you done?!" F?anor runs into the room.

"We are going to end the war before it starts" Rinus pats his back.
