I walked slowly toward the figure, "Your not supposed to be here" I whisper.

"Nova?" I hear Ares call from somewhere behind me.

"How are you here" I mumble. Reaching out to see if my eyes were deceiving me the figure places a kiss on my hand.

A kiss I knew all too well, it couldn't be.

It didn't make sense. The figure then leaned forward rad and placed a kiss on my lips, in my shocked state I did't react.

Ares on the other hand started growling.

"Hi baby" the figure whispered. "Do not call my wife baby" Cain's voice bellowed.

I stunned myself by grabbing the figure into a tight hug, before pushing him away and then slapping him hard across the face.

"I..." he started but Cain grabbed me away from him and sat back in his seat glaring at the figure.

Afraid Ares was going to bite him I said "Emmett come sit next to me".

Walking quickly Emmett sat next to me smiling.

"Ah my Queen you have receive d my gift lovely" Lord Bain says.

"Gift?" I look at him. "Yes a hue-man friend so you aren't so lonely in this strange world.

The best money can buy" he puffs his chest out with pride.

"Um, that's thoughtful" I mumble. Turning back to Emmett I am about to ask something but Eve interrupts. "You know this hue-man my Queen?".

Knew? I... "Nova is my girlfriend" Emmett replies.

"Explain" Cain growls. "Um the thing before wife" he says.

"You were his lover?" Cain says weakly. "Once upon a time, we had a fight and I never saw him again" I try to swallow the bitter taste in my mouth.

"Nova..I.." he starts. "YOU! What the fuck are you doing here?

" Rinus snaps. "Rinus you know this hue-man? " Eve asks.

I look up at Rinus but the has a blank face. "Start talking before I break your neck" he threatens. "I don't know the lady..." he moves closer to me. "What lady?" I ask. Emmett points and my eyes widen as I see the same lady from the introduction smiling in the hallway.

Rinus's eyes follow my eyes and his body tenses.

"YOU!" Rinus snarls. "Hello, sweet prince" she greets him.

"I should have killed you when I had the chance" growls.

"Is that anyway to talk to an old friend?

" she frowns. "You are no friend of mine" his fists ball up.

"The poor bastard son, trying to rewrite, trying to atone the sins of the father so befriends the hue-man" she laughs.

Rinus begins shaking uncontrollably, "Rinus what does she mean?

" I ask quietly. He turns to face me eyes black and black veins on his once clear face.

Turning back around his claws come out, he was going to kills her.

"Ares, Rinus" I command. Ares tackles Rinus to the ground and pulls him away from the lady how was laughing manically.

"Grab her!" I hear myself yell. I see the lady start to glow and then two thick chains wrap around her body.

"I want her in a secure room, eyes on her the entire time.

I will deal with it tomorrow. Same thing for Rinus and Emmett though you don't have to restrain them" I look at them both and they nod.

" I would like to enjoy the rest of my wedding in peace" I add. Who was this girl giving commands?

"I'm sorry wedding?" Emmett sounds agitated.

"Yes, she is my wife. Queen of this land and Mother to our first child" Cain snaps.

Emmett repeats everything in shock. "Nova how could you.

...". "No" I shake my head. "Tomorrow now get him out of my sight" Vato stands and barks orders before overseeing the commands I had given.

"So sorry for the interruption" I say. "Cake!

!" Alara announces happily and in an instant a servant comes out to serve the cake.

I give Alara a grateful glance to which she smiles.

Normal chatter resumed and so did the festivities.

Cain seemed lost in thought but kept me close and Ares refused to leave my side for even a second.

Plastering a smile on my face, I tried to enjoy the rest of my wedding.

As hard as I tried to engage and do my duty as Queen which was be a good host I was struggling.

Luckily it was drama free the rest of the night.

The delicious cake and the boom box seemed to appease the guests, I was thankful no one was trying to be nosy.

I had so many questions running through my head.

Why couldn'ty wedding be drama free? Why was Emmett here.

How did Rinus know Emmett and the lady. Who was this lady?

Why did she ruin my wedding? What did my ancestors do to piss her off?

How did she know my ancestors? Who had all the answers I needed?

Feeling tired I turn to Cain "I'm exhausted,so I'm going to bed".

"I'll retire as well" he says. "No stat have fun" I say gently.

"I want to be with my wife" he says kissing my hand.

After informing Eve and Vato we take our leave.

To my surprise Cain allows Ares in, "Why is he in here? " I whisper as I walk into the closet.

Cain glances at the White Wolf laying by the door "You are carrying our child,you are at your most beautiful and vulnerable plus something strange is going on.

". "You think it's because you peaked at my dress?

" I tease. Cain was about to respond but then looks thoughtful "I suppose we will find out when I intrrogate them".

"Um nooo, I'm doing that" I say firmly. "You don't need to be stressed" he says softly.

"If I am suck waiting in here I will be stressed.

" I reply. Cain let's put a long sigh "We will both go then, now in bed" he orders.

"Goodnight Ares" I say as my head hits the pillow, I don't even hear his response as I drift off.
