"You look lovely Nova" Zaros smiles when I walk in. It did feel nice to shower and put on clean clothes. To my surprise Zaros had instructed I be given a loose fitting dress and shorts. I wanted to say he was thoughtful but he also had me kidnaped. "Thanks" I mumble.

"Emmett taste everything on Nova's plate" Zaros orders. Emmett sighs standing up and doing as he was told, he really wanted his deal to go through the poor sap. I waited 10 minutes to see if Emmett would drop dead and when he didn't I stuffed my face.

"My you are hungry" Zaros laughs. I felt bad that I deprived my baby of nutrients for that long.

I really hoped my body knew how to deal with that.

Zaros watched me in awe as I ate four more plates of food each time making Emmett test them.

"You are interesting" Zaros smiles. "Well you are werid" I reply.

"And why is that?" he questions. "What kind of kidnapper are you? " I lean back into my chair.

"You mean because I haven't forced myself on you?

" he raises an eyebrow. "For one thing, but you also showed identiy at the castle" I say.

"I am a gentleman Nova, I would never disrespect Cain like that" he replies.

"Weren't you holding me in bed earlier?" I squint at him.

"I was comforting you" he corrects. "Without consent" I reply.

"I tried waking you and you didn't wake up so I held you and you instantly stopped crying" he huffs.

"Why do you want me to have your children?

" I ask. "Oh, that" he laughs. "Yea that" I frown.

"I don't want children" he replies. I didn't understand "Why would you tell me that though?

". "I was testing you to see what you would say if you were with someone less kind then I am" he says. "I don't understand" I frown.

"I am happy Cain is happy and in love and expecting a child" he clarifies.

"Are you in love with my husband?" I question.

"Cain is not my type" he laughs. "Do you have a type?

" I ask. "You are pretty and curvy, I like that.

However you belong to another so you are off limits" he smiles.

I guess my eyebrows were still furrowed because he says "Its a code amongst men, wellhonorable men".

"You and Cain are friends?" I ask. " Yes" he says fondly.

"Why kidnap his bride?" Emmett chimes in.

"To get his attention" Zaros replies. "You couldn't have sent a letter?

" I snap. "Well whats the fun in that?" he chuckles.

"Why am I a pawn in your games?" I start crying.

Ugh I hate hormones. Zaros hands me a handkerchief, maybe he was a gentleman.

"Since when did you become a cry baby?" Emmett mumbles.

I grab my empty plate and throw it at his head "I'm pregnant you dumb fuck!

Do you think I want to be crying right now?

" I wipe away the new tears that threaten to fall.

"Emmett sit quietly" Zaros orders. "What no threat?

" Emmett jokes. "You need threats to behave? " Zaros asks.

"No I was joking" Emmett mumbles. "What did you see in him?

" Zaros turns to me. More tears fall because I had no idea.

It was like I was seeing Emmett without the rose colored glasses and it made me want to barf.

"Hey I'm right here" Emmett frowns. "You may leave, I wish to chat with Nova alone" he waves his hand dismissing him.

Emmett swears under his breath and walks out.

"He is the worst" Zaros mumbles making me laugh a little.

"Oh good the tears have stopped" he says happily.

"Do you mind if I feed?" he asks. I shake my head and instantly four people are ushered into the room.

Zaros lets out a loud growl and they all start running for their lives.

I try to keep my eyes on my plate until the screaming stops.

When Zaros comes back to sit across from me he wipes blood from the coroner of his mouth.

"Was all that necessary?" I question. "Yes the blood tastes better when the heart is racing" he smiles.

"Do you always feed on four?" I question.

"No but since you are here I had to" he replies.

"What do you mean had to" I look around the room.

Unlike when Cain feed, Zaros left the people lifeless.

"Your scent, its strong, its sweet. I needed to be full to resist tasting you" he admits.

"I don't know how Cain does it and if he had how does he stop" he says thoughtfully.

"I've met many hue-mans and feed from many but your scent is different, in a good way, well maybe not when you are surrounded by what did you say unruly vampires" he continues.

"You aren't giving me to Emmett right?" I change the topic.

"Of course not, you will leave with Cain.

I just needed to get his attention" he smiles.

"Does Emmett know that?" I question. "I actually think something is off with that hue-man, he sang like a canary when I promised you to him.

You seem to make men obsessed with you" he says.

I let out a long sigh. "It's a blessing and a curse" I say dryly.

"Do you want me to take care of him? Letting him go would cause problems and I'm sure someone who wasn't supposed to know what I know is already plotting." he says. "Are you saying you are the lesser evil?" I tease. "I'm saying I smell a war Bride of Cain and you are the catalyst" he states.

"Just because I'm fertile? That's crazy" I say annoyed. "It is but there has been tension for awhile, mostly Talon's doing. Poor Cain has to deal with the aftermath, though he has cleaned up almost all of Talon's messes there is still resentment." he tells me.

"How do you know all of this?" I question. "Cain really never mentioned me?" Zaros says sadly. "I've only met Theron. I didn't even know Cain had friends in general, he doesn't seem to have time to make them or just prefers the company of family, I'm not sure."

Before Zaros can answer we hear a commotion outside.

Zaros looks excited "What's happening?" I question.

A familiar growl fulls the room, turning around I jump out of my chair and jump into Cain's arms. "I missed you" I cry into his chest. "I missed you too my love" he kisses my head.

"You stink" I sniffle. "Its been a long couple of hours" he laughs.

"Cain! Its nice to see you" Zaros interupts.

"Did you have to steal Nova Zaros?" Cain asks.

"Have to no, wanted to meet her yes. Got your attention didn't it?

" he smirks. "You're not mad at him?" I question.

"Cain could never be mad at me." Zaros chuckles.

"Lets go to my castle, I don't like this place" Cain states. "As you wish" Zaros stands up.

What a weird relationship they had, they laughed and chatted all the way home.
