Bower goes on and on about this being a bad decision and that all the other women were beneath Cain. "Bower, you don't need to worry yourself I have found a woman I want to be my wife." Cain smiles. "That is excellent sire who is she so we can meet with her family!" Bower says excitedly.

"No need, she is right in front of me" he smiles at me.

I turn my head to look behind me but there was no one there.

"There is no one there" I frown at him. "Excellent choice brother I approve!

" Vato jumps up patting him on the back.

"Sire! You cant possibly..." I hear the annoyance and disgust in his voice.

"I don't understand" I mumble, I look at Alara and she looks like she is in shock but begins smiling. "Oh my stars! My dearest friend is going to be Queen?!" she starts clapping excitedly. "I don't understand" I say again.

"Nova, you will be my future Queen" Cain says reaching for my hand and placing a kiss on it.

"Are you insane?!" I jump up and pull away.

"I... don't...there must be someone else!

" I start backing away from the table. "I hate to say this but I agree with the Hue-man, Sire please reconsider!

" Bower pleads. "Silence!" his deep voice booms.

Cain walks toward me and grabs my chin, so I look at him.

"My decision is final" he says loudly. Bower continues to protest "Vato!

His tongue" Cain says annoyed. "Close your eyes my sweet" I hear him tell Alara.

I then hear a muffled scream and chairs falling, Cain blocks my view.

"Nova, will make an excellent queen" he presses his forehead against mine.

Where did this come from? Had I seduced him but when? I felt myself lose my vision, crap not again. When I wake up I am in bed, an alarmed Alara rushes to my side. "Nova! You're okay" she hugs me. "Don't scare me like that again!" she smacks me.

"What happened?" I ask. "You fainted" she says softly. "The doctor said its nothing to worry about". "You had Prince Cain worried" she continues. "Why?" I whisper. "You are his Queen to be Nova, do you not remember do I need to fetch the doctor?" I grab her arm as she stands.

"No, I remember" I smile weakly. Alara fusses over me until I tell her to go spend time with Vato. She reluctantly leaves and I force myself out of bed wandering around the halls. I enter an empty room I think is a ball room and sit in the middle of the floor.

The hum escapes me before I know it, I am quietly singing Ceilings by Lizzy McAlpine.

I played it a lot when I felt confused about a guy, so I memorized every word.

The room sings back to me, I tap my chest to keep the beat.

My whisper turns into a quiet soulful song, the song gives me comfort as I think about being a Queen.

As my song comes to an end, I feel his intense energy.

"Such a sad sounding song" he says as he sits next to me.

"The words are conflicting though, why doesn't she simply tell the person their feelings?

" he asks the room. "I think sometimes its hard to express certain feelings, especially when you don't know how the other person feels" I respond.

"Mmmh" he nods to himself. "Why me?" I turn toward him.

Cain stays quiet for a while before turning to look at me.

"Everything you said is what I want, in a wife" he says.

When I don't say anything, he places a gentle hand on my cheek "You exude that Nova".

"Oh" I turn to stare out of the window. I don't think any guy has told me that before, so blunt and plain.

"You look beautiful in the moonlight" he breaks me from my thoughts. "Thank you?" I was confused on how tender he was being. Cain let out a low chuckle "Did hue-man man not compliment you?". "They did but it was more about my physical appearance most of the time" Cain let out a low growl.

"I don't know how to be Queen, Prince Cain" I mumble.

"You will learn, its not something that someone just knows" he reassures me.

"What if I am not the Queen your people want, or you grow tired of me?

". Cain grabs my chin his eyes piercing my brown ones "They may not want you, but they need someone like you and as for getting tired of you that is impossible, I find you utterly fascinating.

I just learnt you can sing maybe even better than a siren" he leans in to kiss my forehead. "Let me walk you back to your room, tomorrow I announce you as Queen to the entire castle" he helps me onto my feet.

I stumble a little and bump into his chest, Cain pulls me close holding me steady. "Would you like me to carry you my little fawn?" he smiles sweetly at me. "No, I can walk" I say moving away from him. We walk to my room in silence, Cain walks close as he thinks I may faint again.

When we reach my door he says, "Well that's me" and points to his door. I let out a laugh which makes him smile. "Goodnight your majesty" he bows. My eyes widen, before I can respond he disappears into his room. Did the King to be just bow to me?" This day was definitely insane.
