Sooo as every villain original story there is a betrayal of some sorts or something like that. The dark one as they called him or rather formally known as Malachi happened to be friends with Cain. He was son of two powerful sorcerers. As all great stories go the boys fell in love with a girl.

"I'm sorry Cain was in love with another before Nora?

" Ares asks. "Yes now hush wolf" F?anor replies.

"They were young, it was a first love. Problem was the boys both liked her.

Malachi being the first to meet her he tried his luck and to his delight the girl chose him instead of Cain.

Cain was happy for his friend and harborered no resentment".

"One day Cain received word from Malachi that he had taken the girl somewhere to show her something breathtaking but a terrible accident happened" F?anor says.

"What happened?" Vato leans in. " If you let him talk little brother we will find out" Rinus laughs.

"As I was saying the girl was badly injured clinging on her life.Malachi asked Cain to save her, he could not live without her".

"Cain agreed as he didn't want to see his friend in pain".

"Agreed to do what?" I ask. " The most complicated and unpredictable thing any vampire can do.

Change someone into one. Cain bit her and waited for something to happen but nothing did, until the girl started to react badly to the bite.

For you see the girl was not strong enough after losing so much blood. "

"Malachi had gone to get a cold cloth to soothe the burning feeling she had while Cain tried to talk her out of accepting her time. The girl begged Cain for death, a mercy kill to put her out of her pain. Cain felt for the girl, it was either he mercy kills or let's his friend watchhis love die."

" He chose the first, when Malachi came back he had found Cain had sucked her dry.

There was a fight Cain tried to explain but Malachi was too filled with grief to listen and blamed Cain for her death.

Some things were said that couldn't be taken back and that's how the rift between the two started and when Malachi slowly became the dark one. "

"I'm sorry why didn't he use his magic to save her?

" Alara questions. " I do not know, this was just what Cain once told me one night after a night of passion with Nora.

" F?anor replied. "Wait so Malachi killed Nora to get back at Cain who he thought killed the girl he liked?

" I frown. "I suppose once hatred is deep rooted it's hard to let go of" F?anor shrugs.

"How can you openly talk about him if you said I can't say his name?

" I frown. " I placed charms around" he says matter of factly.

"Cain and Malachi liked the same woman?" Ares asks.

"They had the exact same type yes" he replies.

"Do you know of the song Nora sang during the war?

" Alara questions. " The song of death yes, few know it let alone know the words" he replies.

" It triggers Rinus" Ares says. F?anor stares at Rinus for a long time.

"Can you tell us why?" Rinus asks. "I can not tell what I do not know" he says.

He however still looks at Rinus with a weird expression on his face.

"Is Malachi not dead?" Vato asks. "Cain killed him did he not?

" Theron who had been quiet chimes in. "Yes however I am sure he took precautions to before the war"he sighs.

"What does he want with Nova? Cain is dead" my Cain frowns. "Well he is outside why don't you just ask him?" Alara says as she looks out the window. "Absolutely not!" Cain replies"He is attractive for someone so evil" Alara states. I bite my tongue to keep from laughing. "Alara!" Vato exclaims.

"What?! Nova thinks so too" she shrugs. Everyone turns to look at me.

"I didn't say that" I protest. "You also didn't say anything" Rinus smirks.

"I don't think he is evil I think he is misunderstood.

.." "Nova he started a war" Vato states.

"Can we judge him for that we have all killed someone" I add.

They room is silent as they take this in.

"He killed your great great a bunch more greats then grandmother" Zaros says.

"Well he didn't because I am here" I reply.

"Why are you defending him?" Ares frowns.

"I'm not he lost two people he cared about that night and I know what that feels like" I mumble.

"Difference is that you didn't turn evil" Vato points out. "Ugh that's a whole another debate we don't have time to get into" I respond. "Nova is..." Cain makes a gesture that means I am pregnant. "She can't deal with this" he continues. "I vote we just talk to him" I state. "I agree" Alara adds.

"Okay this is not something we are debating" Cain says. "I agree with Queen Nova" Theron says. "Suck up! I agree with Cain. Nova's safety is more important" Zaros replies. "Perhaps he is misunderstood and besides we need to know why I am triggered by Nora's song" Rinus says.

"Rinus not everything is about you" Vato says. "Nothing is ever about me but I want this darkness gone or know how to better control it" he snaps. "It's already started" F?anor sighs. "You and You especially you stay away from Malachi" he points at me and then Rinus, before walking out of the room.

"Why do I feel like he didn't tell us everything" Zaros says.

"If he forgot I'm sure it's not on purpose he is old" I reply.

"Like you said Nova nothing here is just nothing" Ares replies.

"Unrelated you can't just go talk to a dark sorcerer you are pregnant" he continues.

"What does me expecting have to do with anything? " I raise my eyebrow.

"You or our baby could get hurt" Cain replies. "Y'all I escaped the castle running with Alara right after giving birth I think I can talk to a misunderstood man" I laugh. "Nova what did we talk about earlier?" Cain growls at me. "You can come with me obviously" I nervously laugh.

I would honestly prefer to go with the people who agreed with me so Alara, Rinus and Theron they seemed more open minded and willing to hear him out.

I wasn't willing to piss Cain off by telling him that though.

I wonder if I can talk to him without leaving that castle.

As I am having this thought F?anor pops his head back in and points at me like he knows what I am thinking.

Were Nora and I so alike he could guess my thought process?
