"Nova you look deep in thought" Alara says as she massages my back.

Cain and I decided not to tell anyone we are having twins, we were still processing.

We however had Orson build two cribs and told him we would like options.

The twins would wear whatever Indi didn't fit anymore because we did not need a bunch more baby clothes.

"Just thinking about Malachi" I sigh. Cain was having a discussion with Bower across the room so he wouldn't be paying attention.

"Me too, I feel like there must have been something else that happened that either old Cain didn't tell F?anor or didn't know.

Why does he call you pretty but poison. Was he in love with you wait sorry I mean Nora? " Alara asks.

Those were good things to make a mental note of.

"When I am no longer pregnant we need to go talk to him or something, this waiting for something to happen is driving me crazy" I tell her.

"You and me both" Alara replies. "What are you two talking about?

" Cain walks over. "Hair" Alara says while I say "Pregnancy".

Cain stares at us for a long time "Really? "

"Yess we talked about many things those two were the recent ones" I reply. "So you weren't talking about talking to Malachi?" Cain squints at us. "Absolutely not we have better things to do than wonder why nothing has happened" Alara replies. "I am enjoying this somewhat peaceful pregnancy" I add.

It was true it was nice to not be so stressed out even though I was freaking out about having two babies my poor coochie.

But maybe since I struggled to eat they won't be so big so pushing will be easy.

I start laughing to myself and Cain and Alara look at me.

"I was just realising why woman have two boobs if they have twins they have a boob for each" I laugh.

"Makes sense to me" Alara laughs with me.

"Later that night we had a meeting to talk about stage 3 of the fix what my ancestors fucked up plan.

"Okay people,I'm tired so Alara is leading this meeting" I say and sit behind Cain's/Rinus's desk.

"Good evening everyone hope we had a lovely day" Alara says.

People nod and some shrug. "So step 3 of healing the world. ..let's have some ideas" Alara says.

"I think we need to give the memories that were wiped back or show the people what you saw in the cave" Zaros says.

"Okay what else" Alara looks around the room.

"I feel we need to prepare for war" Vato says.

"Why is that?" I ask. "Not everyone is okay with merging of the worlds and with Malachi alive there is bound to be some sort of fight" he continues.

"Our army and that of our allies would take care of it, we have the numbers on our side" Ares replies.

"I would like to say something controversial" my thought process was that talking first works better.

"Nova please don't say it" Cain sighs. "We need to talk to Malachi, to avoid unnecessary bloodshed, if I could just talk to him then. .."

"Then what Nova? Do you have a death wish?

" Ares snaps. "Look I just think part of healing the wound is helping Malachi through his grief because that's basically what started this" I say.

"That makes sense go straight to the source"Theron nods.

Everyone started yelling at each other and it was really giving me a headache to tune it out I started humming.

I didn't even hear someone call my name the only thing pulling me out of my thoughts was the loud predatory sound Rinus made.

Looking up Rinus's eyes were black and the black lines were all over his face.

The room was silent though. Hmmm idea...

. "Nova did you just use Rinus to silence us? " Vato asks in disbelief.

"Um that was not intentional but glad it worked, we are all on the same team we shouldn't be at each other's throats" I reply. "Cain I know you do not lead with fear or well you kind of do with all the threats you give.." I continue. "Where is this going Nova?" Zaros asks.

"Maybe I can scare the ones who don't agree into submission?

People seem to be scared of Rinus when he is like that" I point to Rinus who seemed oddly calm given I sang the forbidden song.

"If there is a war like Vato and Zaros have said then Rinus is the only chance to end it without killing anyone" I reply.

"Do you know how long it took to clean up the mess Rinus made last time you unleashed him and how long it took him to snap out of that?

" Ares asks. "I think the question is do we save millions of lives and let Rinus be uncomfortable for a bit or do we let blood soak into the earth and leave Rinus be? " Theron asks.

"Ooo that is a great question" Alara replies.

"I will be uncomfortable if it means my nieces and or nephews get to live in a peaceful world" Rinus kneels before me.

"Brother you do not need to do that" Cain says softly.

"I will protect my family, the ones I love.

I need you here to be with your wife and children so we do not need a war" Rinus turns to face Cain.

"You would sacrifice yourself?" Vato exclaims. "Yes little brothers I have lived a long life you are just starting yours with people you love, I want you to be around for a long time" Rinus replies.

Cain and Vato tear up and give Rinus a big hug.

"We should have been nicer to you" Vato mumbles.

"I understand why, it's alright" Rinus kisses the tops of their heads.

"Oh my gawd that's so cute!" I sob. "Um my Queen did you spill something there is water at your feet" Tariq says.

"I didn't spill anything" I tell him. "I did feel like I needed to pee a few minutes ago but the feeling went away" I add.

Rinus let's his brothers go and turns to look at me. "Nova your water broke" he says.

"No because that's crazy it's only been 6 actual months" I reply. "Yes but child of Talon arrive 2 months early and since they vampire children you are technically 8 months" Rinus reminds me. "I can't have twins right now! I..." and then the sharp pain starts making me crumple to the floor.

" F?anor get him please" I mumble. "I am your doctor" Rinus pouts. "Yes but a little help is good too" Cain replies holding my hand. "Are you kidding me?" Rinus snaps. "Rinus I love you but it's not about you right now" I breath out.

"I'm sorry did you say twins?" Vato asks. The pain makes me pass out before I could answer him.
