Once I get inside, I draw a bath and sit in it enjoying the warm water. I almost drift off when I hear a knock. "Come in" I call out. I don't open my eyes until I hear the door close. "Prince Cain" I gasp. He was in my room, and I was naked, I start panicking.

The floor is dry again "Thank you Alara" I give her a small smile.

"Why are you in here?" Cain asks Ares. "Alara wants me to build stairs to reach the high places in the closet" he says dryly. "Proceed" he says calmly.

Cain doesn't move til Ares is in the closet "Get dressed and come to my office" he says letting me go. When he leaves, I run into the bathroom moisturize and pull on a long baby pink dress. Alara gives me a look that says you will tell me all about it later.

I nod and scurry out of the room to the office. I knock and peek my head inside, Cain was now dry and staring out the window. "You wanted to see me?" I mumble. "I need a wife" he says. I nod because that made sense, he was going to be king.

"Tomorrow a number of women are going to present themselves" he tells me though he already sounds bored.

"Is there something specific you want me to do?

" I question. "Bower will have his opinions, but I wish to hear what you think of the women as well".

Cain finally turns around "It is of the utmost importance I find a suitable bride Nova".

"I will give my honest opinion" I reassure him.

"I would expect nothing less" he faintly smiles.

"Why is Ares so frequently in your room" he suddenly asks.

"Alara and I broke the bed the other day and I think she wants stairs in the closet so we can put our shoes.

" I inform him. "That is all" he says waving his hand.

Puzzled I walk back to my room before I can turn down our hallway, I am pulled into a closet. "Don't scream it's me" I hear Ares voice. "What are you doing?" I hiss. "I didn't want anyone to see us and make assumptions." he says. "So, pulling us in here makes sense to you?" I laugh.

"Were you trying to make me jealous earlier?" he asks me. "What no, that was an accident but I understand why you would think that" I shrug. "I want you, Nova" he whispers. "I'm sorry what?". Ares answers with his lips, this kiss is no longer tender is urgent, passionate even.
