"Where are we going Rinus?" Alara asks as we run.

"It's a short cut, dealing with all the guards slowed us down" he replies.

Rinus didn't want me to use my magic yet so he insisted on carrying me.

"Doesn't Cain know you left?" I ask. "I told him I had pre-battle jitters and needed to relieve myself" he replies.

"And he believed you?" I laugh. "He gave me a weird look but the sound of the enemies horn distracted him.

I am sure he worked it out now but he can't do anything about it our didn't think I could get you out" he smiles.

"What is the plan exactly?" I ask. "I vote for kill the other army" Rinus jokes.

"Rinus not funny" Alara smacks him. "Nova try a speech first and then if not scare not kill but scare them into submission" Alara tells me.

That should be easy enough right? When we are about to reach a clearing Rinus puts me down.

"I'm ready" he tells me. "For what?" I ask.

"To scare the crap out of people" he smiles.

"I feel like you are way too excited for this" I notice.

"No offence Nova but between the two of us I am scarier" he bares his fangs at me.

"Ooo pointy teeth sooo scary" I roll my eyes and start walking.

"Nova sing the song and project it I promise to wait for your command" Rinus states.

I was about to to protest when we hear Vato shouting, in fear the people I love would get hurt I whisper something and watch as some of my magic speeds off into the open field.

Wasting no time I begin to sing the song, Rinus's eyes go black and the black veins appear on his face.

Alara gives my hand a gentle squeeze as we start walking toward the clearing and the men.

Everyone freezes when they hear us coming, men make way for us as Rinus let's out a loud predatory growl.

"Nova?" Ares stares at me wide eyed. Ignoring him make my way to the front line where Vato and Cain were standing.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Cain exclaims when he sees me.

"It's alright my love" I tell him mentally will Rinus growls at him.

"I am Nova of Earth, Queen of this realm, there is no need for bleed shed surrender and I will have mercy on you" I wait for my words to sink in.

"We refuse to accept these changes, our world is fine how it is!

Will you kill us for having an opinion?!

" someone yells. "I do not wish anyone harm, I will however show you why the change needs to be made".

I then project my memory of Cain and Nora.

I hear some people gasp and see others shake there heads and when the memory is finally over many drop their weapons.

"Those who have dropped there weapons move to stand on this side" I order.

I needed to keep track of who was for the change and who was not.

A lot of people hesitate but with one loud growl from Rinus they move quickly.

"Sorcerer! You can not fool us with your mind games!

" someone shouts. For fucks sake Aurelia?

! "These are my memories of real events, I am not trying to trick anyone.

I am simply fulfilling my prophecy" I reply.

"I saw it with my own eyes, she seduced the King and with her magic makes him bend to her will.

If she can do that we are all not safe" Aurelia says then smiles at me. This fucking bitch.

The more I frowns the darker the clouds loom over the field get, we then hear the booming sound of thunder as I try to control my emotions.

"Aurelia you can not have what is not yours.

Encouraging a blood bath isn't the right thing to do" I snap.

"We want the sorcerer gone and the King to take a new wife!

!" someone yells. Cains intensity flows through me and to the opposite side .

"My wife is not going anywhere! I will not take a new wife and she speaks the truth" he growls.

"Any one who has a problem with that come meet your death" he snarls.

"He has clearly been bewitched" another shouts.

"I assure you no one is bewitched" I try and stay calm.

Why were they fixating on the wrong things?

! So much for this being over quickly."You will all obey unless you want today to be your last" Rinus says taking a step forward.

Someone spits on the ground which clearly pisses Rinus off because he rips his head clean off.

"Rinus" I whisper "what are you doing?!" 'We tried it your way now they die" he states before he runs forward and begins tearing people limb from limb.

"Rinus stop!" I yell as I hear pained screams and tearing flesh.

I imagine a lasso of some sort and pull him towards me which took a lot more energy than I thought.

Rinus fought me the entire time. I had no idea how strong he got when he was like this.

"I need you to cooperate, it's for your own good" I force out.

I felt like we are in a game of tug a war.

"Why are you so strong?" I wheeze. "The same magic runs through our veins" he smiles evilly.

Was this how he was when he was with Indra?

She liked this? Why? He seemed impossible to deal with.

"Rinus I need you to snap out of it right now" I plead with him.

Instead he growls and tries to claw at me.

I could't move away because I was focusing on holding on to him and cinjuring something to contain him in.

With my multi-tasking Rinus managed to scratch my face before I could lock him in a cage.

"Nova you are bleeding my love, let me see!

" Cain rushes toward me. "It's just a little scratch it's fine" I say.

"I told you to stay inside" he growls. "No you had me drugged and then pushed me into a magic cage" I reply.

"Look most people are cooperating. Once we are not in danger we can talk about who did what wrong and so on, so for now.

...". "Nova, Cain look out!" I hear Ares scream.

I see a bunch of arrows flying towards us.

Using one hand I turn them into the first thing that comes into my head. .butterflies.

"She possesses dark magic!' Aurelia screams. "Aurelia!

Please, you have feelings that are not reciprocated getting innocent people killed won't make Cain love you" Nova the bigger person was talking to her instead of killing her.

How did she even get back from where Indie sent her and did she rally this army with lies about me?

Bitches be crazy when they are trying to steal your man.

As I watch her it looks like for a brief moment she is contemplating my words.

I turn and direct my attention to my brother-in-law Rinus who was freaking out in the cage.

I needed to sort him out fast because he wasn't in control anymore.

I feel a sudden sharp pain in my chest that pulls my eyes way from Rinus.

To my displeasure I see two arrows sticking out of my chest. My eyes widen and my blood boils as the dark red liquid begins to seep into my white dress.

"If I can't have him neither can you human" Aurelia says.

That bitch did not shoot me twice!! Dead she was dead no more being civil.

Cain rushes towards me as I pull the arrows from my chest and drop them to the ground.

Not needing anymore distractions I push him away.

I had to concentrate if I was going to kill Aurelia and keep Rinus contained.

Before I could enact my sentencing a fuming Alara charges gracefully at Aurelia and stabs her right in the throat.

I watch as Aurelia gasps for air and tries to stop the blood pouring onto her hands.

Alara then summons a shit ton of water and forces it into Aurelia until she explodes.

I was going to make it a quick and painless death because she was Cain's friend but Alara made sure to make it as painful as possible in true bestie fashion.

"Baby let me stop the bleeding" Cain tries again.

Not his friend dying and him only is focusing on me.

"It does't hurt" I lie. "Do not lie to me" he says sternly.

"Fine it hurts like a motherfucker but its fine I will heal it later, I promise" I try to reassure him.

I give him a small smile and try not to show that I was feeling a little light headed.

Cain reluctantly nods but stays near me. Okay on to the next problem.
