I've never run so fast or carefully in my life.

Running with a newborn and after giving birth was not something I ever thought I would be doing.

Alara let out a loud high pitched whistle and Attor flew toward us.

We ran to a clearing and Alara jumped onto Attors tipped wing before lifting us up with her powers.

"The volcano" I wheeze. Attor takes off flying faster than I had ever experienced.

"Nova are you alright?" Alara asks as I try to breath.

"Yea fine, my home was stormed, I just ran after pushing a child out and my family is fighting an unnesessay battle" I breath.

"They will all be alright" she hugs us. "Hi angel, I'm sorry this was your first encounter with the outside world" I whisper.

"I will make it right, I promise even if it kills me".

I kiss her head. Attor slows as he approaches the volcano and drops inside.

"My Queen are you alright?" he looks at me worried.

"Oh this blood is from her" I show him the baby.

"She is beautiful, my Queen" he bows.

"Its nice to meet you Princess" he says.

"This is Attor angel" I place her hand on him.

"Nova you need rest" Alara helps me sit down.

Attor blocks the entrance with half his body and we lean on his other half.

"My sweet Indi its okay" I try to sooth her as she starts fussing.

"Maybe she is hungry?" Alara says. "Oh right um do I just stick it in her mouth" I had never actually seen someone breast feed in real life.

I put lil Indi as close as I can to my nipple, her mouth didn't open making me panic.

With everything going on I didn't even have time to ask Eve the basics.

Do vampires even breast feed? Lifting her up closer I pray she knows what she is doing because I did not.

I let out a sigh when she latches on. "Oh thank Gawd", I whisper.

"How do I know the milk is coming out?" New fear unlocked. "She is sucking?" Alara asks.

"Yes..ow what the fuck?" I snap. "Ah I think that means it's coming out" Alara claps happily.

"Are you hungry?" she asks when I don't say anything.

"No just tired, can you wake me so I can burp her after she is done?

" I ask as my eyes close. I wake up a little disoriented.

That's when I started panicking my arms were empty.

"No no no" I whisper. Indira!!" I begin searching.

"Look my little flower mama is awake" Alara coos.

My heart slows down a little. "I didn't want to wake you with all the stress you have had.

I burped her and been talking to her about you" Alara smiles and hands her back to me.

"Hi my angel, did you have fun with your auntie" I ask.

Indira gives me a little smile which melts my heart.

"How long have I been sleep?" I ask. "Mmmh like two days" Alara says.

"You let me sleep for two days!!" I yell.

"Yea Indira feed twice, you did it in your sleep.

Then I burped her and looked after her" she says.

"Fuck, I'm sorry you had to do all that" I sigh.

"Nova it was my pleasure and you really needed to rest and now eat" she hands me some bread.

"When did you have time to grab this" I ask as I nibble on it.

"I used my magic while we were in the hall" she smiles.

"How long do you think we will have to be here?

" I ask. "I'm not sure between all the men I'm sure it won't be too long" she leans her head on my shoulder.

"You should sleep" I say softly. "I have to protect you and Indira" she protests.

"Attor's got it Alara, sleep for a bit okay, I will wake you" I smile.

Alara sighs but nods and leans into Attor.

I get up and stretch my feet staring at this little person in my hands. "I wonder who you will resemble" I whisper. Indira looks at me like she is about to laugh. "You think Mommy is funny?" I tickle her belly. "Gawd you are so freaking cute!" I kiss her little hand.

Sitting in a volcano waiting was the worst thing I have ever had to do.

Everything hurt, and I was both mentally and physically exhausted.

I had about six melt downs throughout the day.

Alara tries to soothe me as much as she could but we would both ended up crying.

Indira was the calmest among us but then again how much do she understand.

After about a week I had enough. "Attor is there a way we can contact anyone at the castle or something?

" I ask. "I could ask my brother...though I would need to fly up into the clouds" he replies.

"No one can get in here if you are at the top right?

" Alara asks. "No, but things are so uncertain I don't want to risk it" he sighs.

"Nova needs food other than bread to give Indira healthy milk" Alara tells him.

"My Queen? The call is yours" Attor replies.

"Go up and ask far as you need" I reply.

Attor moves from the entrance making the room a lot hotter.

I didn't know his body was absorbing a lot of it.

"Alara can you hold Indi? I will stand over there in case an intruder comes in".

"I should do that Nova" she says. "The dagger only works in my hand and if they get past me you are Indi's best bet at survival" I tell her.

"Be careful" she says firmly. I nod and watch as she hides in a corner and I sit staring up at the hole Attor flew out out.

I was starting to get tired when, I heard movement.

My heart raced as I moved into position to attack.

Luckily I had taken some self defense classes so at least I could take them by the element of surprise and then use that to use the blade Rinus gave me.

I hope he was okay, I don't think he likes going to the dark side.

When I saw the shadow, I kicked them in the back of the knees and held the blade to their throat.

"Move and you die" I threaten. "Nova?" I hear Cain's tired voice.

I couldn't really see and if Nora could be easily tricked I had to avoid that shit.

"Poison dagger, if you are Cain then tell me whether your wife birthed a girl or boy, answer wrong and well that will be the last thing you say" I whisper.

"My wife birthed a girl and if you need further proof she said she will kill me if I get her pregnant again" he replies.

"Cain?" I sob. "My love for me to embrace you, you need to remove the weapon from my neck" he chuckles.

"Right, sorry" I place it in my messy bun.

Cain grabs me and gives tightest hugs, he then pulls away to look at me.

"I'm so happy you are alright" he has tears in his eyes.

I place a gentle kiss on his lips. Cain scans my body and frowns, you have blood on your dress are you hurt?

". "That's from your daughter" I laugh. "My daughter" he whispers.

"Nova are you d-e-a-d?" Alara calls out.

"I'm fine it's just Cain" I yell. Alara runs out "Vato?

". "Everyone is alright" he says. "What the "f-u-c-k took you so long! " I smack his arm.

"I wanted the castle to be in order for your return and Rinus took awhile to snap out of whatever you did to him to give me the information I needed to come get you" he said.

"Hey if I didn't sing the song, both your daughter and I would have been taken" I say making him growl.

Indira starts crying at the sudden loud noise. "Cain you woke her up!" I snap.

"Hey Angel it's okay, Daddy didn't mean to wake you up lil Indi" I speak softly.

"You named her Indira?" he uses an inside voice.

"Yes, do you want to hold her?" I ask. Cain looks at me nervously.

"Here my love sit and place your arms like how Alara is demonstrating" I wait until he is done.

"Indi this is Daddy, Daddy this is Indi" I introduce them as I place her in his arms.

Cain immediately sheds tears "She is beautiful my love".

"Isn't she" I smile. Seeing them like that made me start crying, "This is too cute, I can't". "Nova, thank you" Cain says as he smiles at Indi.

"For what?" I choke out. "For this precious little girl" he replies.

"Your gifts await you" he continues. "No way push presents fuck yeah!

" I yell making Indi frown. "You're Mommy is excitable" Cain chuckles.

"This is adorable but let's go home, so Nova can bathe she stinks and so do I" Alara laughs. I smell my armpits and heave "Yea we need to go home immediately" I say making them both laugh.
