"Alara you are going to get me pregnant again" I gasp as I stare at myself in the mirror.

"I'm glad you like the dress" she laughs.

"What do we wanna do with our hair today?

" she asks. "I think I will do a half up and half down look" I start dividing my hair.

"Nova there is something you need to see" Rinus burst through the door.

"Well hello to you too, I'm fine thank you for asking" I reply.

"There is no time for pleasantries" he huffs.

"Why are you so worked up?" Alara asks. "We need to go right now" he says urgently.

"Rinus Eve has spent a lot of time and energy throwing a baby shower for me, whatever it is will have to wait" I say.

"oh I forgot Mother was doing that, I will go get ready" he is about to leave. "Stop!" I yell firmly. "Come over here and explain yourself" I demand. "Yes my Queen" he grumbles. "I finally understood what Indra meant well kind of, I think when you see it you will be able to explain" he says.

"Why didn't you lead with that!"Alara smacks him.

"Not sure, haven't slept and I missed my yearly feeding time" he scratches his head.

"Do you need me to have Bower get someone for you?

"I question. Rinus seemed more wound up than normal, maybe he also needed to get laid.

"When was the last time you had sex?" I ask.

"Nova!" Alara exclaims. "What? He looks like he needs to blow off some steam. " I say.

I yell for a servant and wait for Rinus to ask for what he needs. "Have Bower send a female and male to my room immediately" he orders. The servant scurries out to deliver the message. "See you at the shower sister" he leaves. "He likes both?" Alara asks into the room.

"I suppose, we have never had this discussion before" I shrug.

"I wonder what he wants us to see" Alara says.

"I shall pack a bag, he was gone for a long time, the place must be far" she says.

"I will tell Cain we are going on a mini trip, before the baby is born" I say. "Won't he want to come?" Alara asks.

"Not if I agree to take Attor, even though you and Rinus are plenty protection" i sigh.

"What if he refuses?" she asks. "I think this is a journey I have to do without him plus Rinus knew Indra and you were with me when we first met her so makes sense you two would come with.

"I agree" Alara runs about shoving things neatly into a bag.

It was the first time I had seen someone do that.

The entire room gasps when I enter the room. Instantly Cain is by my side "You look absolutely ravishing" he murmurs. "Can you be pregnant while pregnant" he asks mentally. "I don't think so" I laugh.

"Oh my goodness Eve this is beautiful" I tear up as I take in the room. "I'm so glad you like it" she hugs me. "I wanted it to be an intimate celebration however I invited General Astrid, hope you don't mind" she says. "Not at all" I smile.

"My Queen have you come up with baby names?

" Orson asks. "I have a few, I like" I say shyly.

"Tell us sister" Vato says for the first time.

"Oh um yea" I blush. "Don't be shy my love" Cain pulls me into his lap.

Taking a deep breath and snuggling into Cain I prepare to share names I liked that I haven't told anyone about.

"I really like the name Indira which means beautiful so nicknames can be Indi or Dira. I also like Zahara which means either flower or to shine or both. For boys I like Albie which is short for Albert which means noble and bright or Kairo which means victorious." "I love them" Cain kisses my hand.

"They are all soo cute!" Alara squeals. "How will you know which name to give?

" she asks. "I guess look at them and see what fits" I shrug.

"How many grandchildren will I be blessed with from you Nova?

" Eve asks. "I think four is a good number and then Alara can have four and then you get eight in total" I say thoughtfully.

"I agree four is a perfect number" Alara says.

"Only four? Cain has always wanted a big family" Rinus walks in.

"You seem relaxed" I smirk at him. " I will accept as many as Nova wants" Cain says.

Zaros lets out a loud laugh making us all turn to stare at him.

"What?"Cain questions. "Nothing" he says shaking his head. "Zaros spit it out" I say annoyed.

"I just don't think that will be the case especially with the sexual chemistry you two have and if I understood correctly Cain's seed got around something you had to prevent having babies. But its true Cain wants like 8 kids or more" he says.

Everyone is silent taking in the information, the sexual chemistry part is true, could I give birth 8 times?

Thats crazy unless they are twins then I only have to do it four times maybe triplets, do I have those in my family.

Ugh I can't remember. "My love ignore him four is a good number, but lets see how the birth of our first goes" Cain finally interrupts the silence.

"Presents!!" Eve exclaims excitedly. Now the fun can begin, or so I thought. "My queen, I would like to go first" Orson says. He pulls out and then unveils a beautiful round crib. "Once you decide on a name it will go on there too" he says. "It's beautiful" I sob and hug him.

"Perhaps I could go next" Bower enters the room. I hadn't seen him in awhile. "Awwh Bow you made me something?" I tear up again. "Um, yes I hope it is to your liking" he sets a neatly wrapped box on the table. I gasp when I open it, "This is so sweet" I burst into more tears.

"What is it?" Theron asks. "He made my realms solar system" I say.

"Planets and such" Rinus explains. "It took a lot of research and taking to Rinus who is unpleasant but your reaction was worth it, I'm excited to meet the first heir" he says.

I jump up and give him the biggest bear hug as usual he turns bright red but he slightly hugs me back.

"Me next!" Alara exclaims. She then proceeds to wheel in a giant box.

Cain gets up to cut the ribbon and there were about a million onesie all in different sizes half uni-sex and some more girly or boyish than the other.

"Fuck! Alara you made all these?" I ask in shock.

"Mmmhmm, to be fair I started when Cain announced you as Queen to be" she blushes.

"How long did this take?" Cain asks. "Not long they are tiny, the hardest part was selecting the material" she laughs. "Thank you Alara this is a wonderful gift" Cain hugs her. I had never seen them stand that close together ever. Alara blushes so hard I start giggling.

"My gift isn't appropriate for a baby" Vato says.

"Maybe when they are two or three" he pulls out a tiny sword.

"Oh my gawd thats soo cute!!" I pick it up.

"Maybe a little older than two or three" Cain says taking it out of my hand and settling it down.

"Why is it sharp?" Cain asks. "To be able to injure their opponent" Vato states.

"Vato..." Cain sighs. "I was one when I held my first sword" he protests.

"What Cain means to say is thank you we love it" I hug him.

"I want to learn how to use one too" I whisper to him.

"Absolutely not" Cain shakes his hand and grabs me back to sit in his lap.

Before I could protest Cain says "Next gift".

Ares shyly walks up, he looked more nervous then when I met his mom.

He hands me the box and moves away. "I wanted to give something that was sentimental to me" he says softly.

I tear off the wrapping and open the box, in there sat a cute little teddy bear.

Picking it up I give it a little hug. "It was mine when I was little" Ares tells me. "Awwh come here honey" I open my arms. I hug Ares then place a bunch of kisses all over his face. "The baby is going to love this" I smile. I immediately feel heat rush to my face as everyone stares at me in shock.

"Next gift?" I mumble making Rinus burst out laughing.

"My Queen, I shall wait to give my gift until the baby is born, if that is alright.

" Theron says. "That is perfectly fine." I smile at him.

"Unlike Theron my gift is in the stable waiting to be born" Zaros says.

"You got my baby a horse?" I ask. "A horse what is the fun in that?

" he laughs. "I got them a unicorn obviously" he says.

"I'm sorry you are telling me, I could have my very one unicorn?

" I question. "This shower is for the baby Nova" he laughs.

"Yes my love you can have a unicorn if you wish or a dragon" Cain replies.

"Oh my gawd my inner child is soo excited!

" "My gift goes with Vatos" General Astrid says.

She places a tiny shield on the table with a wolf on it.

"These are not child friendly" Cain sighs.

"My baby is going to be a little warrior" I squeal.

"I literally need a camera and scrapbook so I can take a bunch of cute pictures.

" I say. "Well sister you guessed my gift" Rinus places his box on the table.

Opening it there was exactly that in there.

"Yes! Perfect thank you" I clap happily.

"I suppose my gift is last" Cain says. "No me first" Eve comes in with a big blue baby blanket.

"I made a family tree blanket, I was unsure about some of yours so I will add them later and of course I excluded Talon.

Then in the baby's room I put a bunch of blankets and socks I knitted.

" she says. "Eve this is lovely thank you" I start crying again.

How I had more tears after all this I had no idea.

"I guess it is my turn" Cain mumbles. He sets a pretty shiny box in my hand.

Opening it I start crying uncontrollably.

"I...". "I love your sining and I think our babies will too.

So I had this music box made, thats you in the middle.

Um you will have to sing a few songs so it will record them and then when the baby sleeps it will play them.

"I wanted them to always feel like you are there" he says. "I love it baby" I try and wipe the tears so I can kiss him. "And I love you" he places a soft kiss on my lips.

The rest of the afternoon we spent chatting and eating, I had to pull Cain away to tell him we were leaving.

"Baby, Alara, Rinus and I are going on a friends trip before the baby is born" I say.

"You want to leave the castle?" he questions.

"Yes, for a little bit" I bat my eyelashes at him.

"Absolutely not, Emmett has stirred up trouble,I'm getting unsettling reports" he tells me.

"Wait what?" I ask. "I will deal with it my love, focus on the baby" he says.

"The trip is also for the baby, I mean technically for me before I become a mom.

I will take Attor if it will give you peace of mind" I offer.

Cain doesn't say anything and stares at me.

"Baby... Rinus and Alara plus Attor are enough protection, having more men like I know you want to say will draw attention to us" I say softly.

I could see him weighing the pros and cons and frown slightly at the conclusion he had come to.

"Fine" he says. "Alara, Rinus" he waves them over.

"I hear you are taking Nova on a trip. If anything happens to her or my child and I mean even the slightest cut or bruise there will be consequences so severe you will beg for death".

I think that was the scariest threat Cain has ever given.

Alara and Rinus nod frantically "We understand my King" they say before scurrying back to the group.

"When do you leave?" Cain turns toward me.

"Tonight" I say. "Come let us enjoy the rest of the shower then" he takes my hand and walks us back to the happy group.
