“Marry me.”

His entire body goes rigid with shock. Eyes widening.

“What?”

“You heard me.”

“I want you to say it again.”

“Marry me.”

He blinks at me a few long moments, then sits up. I can’t help but notice his dick is still very fucking hard.

“You want…me to marry you?”

“I really do.”

“But…I can’t…it’s not…”

“Not legal in Korea, I know. But it is here. It is in lots of places actually.”

“But…” he says again.

I’m aware then that my mouth this close to his cock is actually pretty distracting for us both. So, I sit up. “But what?”

He flounders. “I don’t know. It’s not something I ever thought I would be able to do. So, I have never really thought about it.” He looks a little…embarrassed by this? That he had never thought of it.

“Okay, well, are you thinking about it now?”

Jae nods, carefully.

“And so how do you feel about it?” I reach out and take his hand, stroking my fingers over his smaller ones.

He looks at our hands, then up at my face, then down at our hands again.

“Why do you want to marry me?” he asks.

“Is this you fishing for compliments again? Cause I’ll take the bait, happily.” It’s a joke but he doesn’t laugh. He just looks up at me all wide-eyed and uncertain.

“You did not want to get married before. To Camille.”

I can’t hide my flinch of surprise. “Yeah, well, because I didn’t want to marry Camille.”

“But you must have thought you did. You asked her. Why would you ask her if you did not want to marry her?”

I feel my dick shrinking at that. It’s a valid fucking question, it’s just not where I expected this conversation to go. I’d expected I’d have his dick in my mouth and him nodding an emphatic yes at this point. I scrub a hand over my face and let out a sigh.

“I guess, at one point, I thought I wanted to marry Camille.”

“But then you changed your mind.”

I know where this is going. He doesn’t even have to say it.

“I’m not going to change my mind about you, Jae.”

“You sound certain now, but how can I know you will be certain in two more years? Five?”

“Isn’t that the same with any marriage proposal? Any marriage? Why does anyone get married in that case? There’s always a possibility that minds and feelings will change.”
