Gage watched Duncan work and had to admire the man. Just knowing how smooth he was, as he had seen it first-hand more times than he wanted to admit.

With his signature wink, Duncan trotted over to Gage's desk, a triumphant smile on his face.

"We are all good to go, man."

Duncan turned around and looked over at Eliot and she waved, blowing him a kiss.

He turned back to face Gage.

"You are the best friend a guy could ever have."

Gage rolled his eyes for a third time in the last five minutes.

"I am so glad," he said, his voice filled with sarcasm.

"Now you are free to go ask out your girl."

He smiled without knowing.

"Man, you must really like this girl if you're smiling like that," he whispered.

"I got you a girl, now go away," Gage admonished, Duncan walking off in laughter.

Gage sat there for a while, thinking about her face; her eyes the color of chocolate; making him hungry.

He was sidetracked by a call, the customer taking his attention elsewhere.

Finally, it was his lunch time and as he clocked out for lunch, he saw the girl walking towards the break room.

Trying not to look conspicuous, he half ran to the break room behind her, catching up to her and saying hello.

She looked surprised to see him, and she smiled timidly back at him and replied, "Hi there."

"Are you on break?" he asked, walking with her to the fridge while she grabbed herself a drink.

"I am. That last call took me over by a good fifteen minutes, so I am just going now. Thank goodness."

He chuckled and she smiled brighter.

"I know this is stupid as we have had at least three conversations so far, but what is your name?"

She chuckled. "My name is Elisa James."

He smiled and held out his hand to her. "Gage DeNiro."

"Is Gage short for something?" she asked, shaking his hand and then letting go.

"Nope. What about yours?"

She shook her head. "Just Elisa."

"Well, Just Elisa, it is nice to actually introduce myself to you."

"Thanks. It is lovely to meet you as well."

They reached the break room and Elisa went to sit down, waiting as Gage halted her and pulled out her chair for her.

She sat down in the chair and was surprised by how easy it was for him to push her in.
