She walked over to him slowly, using her teasing hips and pouty lip that used to work on him every single damn time she wanted something.

“Don’t you miss me?” she whispered, running her hand down his chest and trying to grab his dick.

He grabbed her hand and pulled it away from his body.

“No, I don’t miss you. You moved on, and so have I.”

He pushed past her and headed towards his front door.

He unlocked it and walked inside, shutting the door behind him.

He laid his keys down next to his phone and headed to the fridge.

She pushed the door open and came in, even though he had not invited her in.

“What do you mean moved on? Who is the little skank?” she sneered, a look of abject betrayal on her face.

He almost laughed at the look, as if he was supposed to feel guilty for moving on from her.

“Is she here right now?” she snapped, rushing into his bedroom, looking around in the bathroom as well.

“There is no one here in my apartment but you and me. Even if there was someone else I would not let you harass her,” he said, closing the refrigerator door.

“If you are done with your crap, you can go now. Bye Erin.”

She huffed and stalked to the door, stopping to pick up his phone and look at it.

She unlocked it and searched through his messages, seeing the last one from Elisa about their date.

“So, Elisa is the little skank’s name huh?” she said, waving his phone in front of his face.

He grabbed the phone out of her hands, regretting not changing his lock code for his phone.

“Get out Erin. Don’t make me call the cops on you.”

She scowled at him before stomping out of the apartment.

“You will regret this Gage!”

He rolled his eyes and shut the apartment door before heading to take a shower.

The next day, Gage headed in to work; his spirits rising as he walked through the building.

He had texted Elisa earlier and they had been talking all day, but he was happy to see her in person.

He just had to not think about what happened early yesterday and the night before that, because all that did was leave him uncomfortable.

Gage chuckled and badged in, walking to his classroom for their before nesting meeting.

He arrived early enough to get a good seat further back and then walked to the kitchen to grab a drink.

He saw Elisa at her desk, looking focused, so he decided he would wait to say hi to her later.

Danny saw him and waved, making a beeline straight for him.

“Hey Danny, what’s up?” he said, stopping so that Danny could walk with him to the kitchen.

“Hey Gage, I need to talk to you.”
