You can do this, buddy. She looks fine though!
Elisa had put on a beautiful purple sheath dress, almost the same color as her hair and it was incredibly sexy.
It had some silver braided detail that accented the deep plunge of the neckline, teasing his eyes.
Her heels were tall and strappy, making her almost as tall as him at six feet one.
She had curled her hair and it framed her face, the curls bouncing as she walked.
He hopped into the driver's seat and did his seatbelt, the car roaring to life as he turned the key.
He backed up slowly, making sure that there was no one coming and then headed out, taking off down the road towards their destination.
“So where are we going?” she asked, watching him as he effortlessly steered the car through traffic.
He was wearing a nice button-down shirt in a dark red; his pants, belt and shoes a dark brown.
The brown is sexy.
She giggled internally, wanting to laugh at her thoughts, but making sure to refrain.
I don’t want him to think I’m weird on our first date.
His hair was slicked back, and he had sunglasses on, as it was still sunny outside.
She had to say she was impressed. He cleaned up nicely.
“We are headed to a nice little Italian place,” he said, making her curious.
“Where at?” she asked, hoping it was not Olive Garden.
She loved Olive Garden, but she had hoped for a little bit more of a romantic setting.
“It’s a surprise. I promise, you are going to like it a lot.”
He reached over and grabbed her hand and squeezed it, Elisa holding on to his hand in her lap as they drove.
A little while later, he pulled off the main road and headed down a country road, making her look around as they got farther away from the city.
“Where are we going?” she asked, hesitating now that they were leaving civilization.
He laughed.
“Don’t worry, I am not going to hurt you I promise. We are heading out to my grandmother’s house. Also, she passed away a while ago, so her house is empty now. But I go out there and stay the weekend every so often. I also have someone come clean it.”
“Then how come you stay in your apartment?”
“She died before my lease was up. Which sounds terrible, but it’s true. If I didn’t have my lease still, I would be living out here. It’s a little longer commute than my apartment, but it’d be worth it.”
Elisa looked around and was in awe as the sun was setting around her, the colors thrown across the sky as if they were painted there.
The rainbow colors were vibrant, the oranges and reds deeper as the sun went down, sending shivers down her arms.
“It is so beautiful,” she whispered.
He looked at her and said, “I couldn’t agree more.”
She looked over at him and smiled, a slight blush coming to her face.
