“Hi Gage!” she said cheerily.

“Go away, Erin,” He snapped, trying to get into his car.

She stopped him and smiled, reaching over and kissing him passionately.

In the midst of the kiss, Gage thought he heard a photo shutter.

He pulled away abruptly and glared at him.

“Go away, Erin!” he shouted, almost pushing her out of the way to get into the car.

“Fuck you, Gage!” she screamed, storming off.

When she was out of sight of him, she pulled out her phone and sent the picture message with an evil laugh.

“You can’t get away from me that easily.”

Gage pulled into Elisa’s apartment complex and parked, walking with quick strides to her apartment door.

He knocked and she called out, “Whose there?”

“It’s Gage!”

“Go away!”

He stared at the door in shock. “Elisa, what’s going on?”

“You, you’re what’s wrong.”

“What the hell are you talking about?” Gage called.

“Elisa, please open the door so we can talk about this.”

Elisa opened the door and shoved her phone in his face, a picture of Erin and Gage kissing displayed.

The words,He is mine and always will be. He never even liked you, only wanted you to forget me for a nighthad been texted with the photo.

“Fuck me,” he cursed, swiping his hand over his face.

“She ambushed me in the parking lot and kissed me. I knew I heard a picture get taken.”

Elisa lowered the phone and looked at him. “Are you sure?”

He looked at her beautiful tear-streaked face and nodded.

“There is nowhere I’d rather be than right here, with you, right now.”

She burst into tears and threw her arms around his neck, pressing a salty kiss to his lips.

“Oh Gage…” she whispered, resting her forehead against his.

Her emotions were in shambles from Eric grabbing her arm to the picture being sent.

Gage held her for a few moments, the tears subsiding after she calmed down.

“Come on, let’s go inside.”

She nodded and he picked her up and carried her back into the apartment.
