Story: Pretty Poison

“We need to stop, shorty…”

“But there's no one here, mami.” She teased me in a sly voice. Veronica was unique in teasing me at these times. She knew exactly how to get me off and make me turned on with just the right words.

“You want me to throw you in the back seat of the car and fuck you, is that it?” I replied, feeling her goosebumps all over my hands.

Veronica moved away, looking at me with a face that mixed suffering, impatience and desire.

“I wanted to say yes, but my notion of self-preservation doesn't allow me, Ken. No outdoor sex where anyone can see, mami.”

I smiled and placed one last kiss on her lips.

“Okay, then let's go.”

I backed off with a silly smile still on my lips, noticing her adjusting herself on the bench and pressing her legs together, rubbing her thighs together. Fortunately, I had to do the same.

I had enjoyed some time with Veronica, but I had planned to have lunch with Colleen, so when the clock showed 12:00, I said goodbye to her and went to my cousin's dorm.

I was still wearing my practice clothes and my ponytail had been replaced by a bun, holding the dirty strands tightly together.

I got out of the car and entered the small two-story building. The university dorms for seniors were different from those for freshmen. They only had space for two people per room and had their own dining room. I went up to Colleen's room on the second floor and knocked on the door, being greeted by a disheveled Derek as he finished putting on his own shirt.

“Good morning, Derek.”

“Good afternoon, Kendra...” He shot me a wink before walking away. I wasn’t entirely sure what he meant by that, but I decided ignorance was bliss in this case.

I entered the room, seeing my cousin watching the window, probably watching Derek get into his own car and leave.

“You are all messed up and still managed to have sex, is that right?”

Colleen started and looked at me in surprise.

“Hi, little cousin…” A nervous smile filled her lips.

“Hi... you big slut?!”

Colleen started to turn red in the cheeks, but she wasn't too shaken.

“He asked me to be his girlfriend.” She confessed. “We are officially together and one excitement led to another.”

It felt like the world paused briefly at my cousin's news, but everything quickly returned to normal. That’s when I remembered I needed to congratulate her for dating my girlfriend's brother. Wait—were we even officially dating?

“Wow, it is such a joy to share news with you...” Colleen started to complain, sitting on the couch.

“No, Colleen... I'm sorry...” I sat next to her. “Congratulations, you deserve an incredible boyfriend like Derek has shown himself to be.”

“Thank you, Ken.”

A sigh escaped me as my mind created the courage I needed to confess to my cousin about my involvement with Veronica. She needed to know that, even more so now that she was dating Derek. However, I wasn't sure if she would like the news.

“Yeah, like… not wanting to ruin your happiness or anything, but… well… I kind of need to tell you something.” Great, I was already failing miserably.

“Okay, what is it?”

I started to feel sweat on the back of my neck for the second time that day, but this time out of pure nervousness.

“Veronica and I... We...” I looked away from my cousin and fixed it on my hand, which was restless on my lap. “Me and her we… yeah… we…”

“Did you two get into another fight?” Colleen interrupted me, clearly annoyed. “Because if you did, I swear…”
