"I just wanted to help."

My heart aches for the broken boy before me.

Reaching out, I place my hand on his thigh, wanting to support him in the same way he does me, only, I don't just meet his thigh, instead he sucks in a sharp breath when my fingers connect with his still hard length.

"Shit," I gasp, quickly moving my hand lower. Averting my gaze from his, I mutter, "I guess I should offer to return the favor, huh?"

The sound of his laughter forces me to look up at him again, and I can't help but smile then I find him with his head thrown back and a wide smile on his face.

"As much as I'd love that, it's probably not the best idea." He pushes from the bed and starts picking up my discarded clothes.

"Well, what kind of a friend would I be if I didn't at least o-offer," I stutter when I look up to find him holding my panties out for me to pull on. "Thank you," I whisper, swiping them from his fingers.

"Come on, let's get out of here before he gets back."

"We should go find him."

"No, we shouldn't. Come on."

Trusting that Leon knows exactly how to deal with his twin, I take his outstretched hand and follow him across the hall to his own room.

"Bathroom?" I ask, pointing at a door opposite the one we just walked through.

"Yeah." With a smile that I really don't feel, I leave Leon standing in the middle of his room looking totally lost.

My chest aches as I close the door behind me and lean back against it.

The room around me continues to spin from the vodka I've consumed, but it's no longer numbing the pain. I fear nothing is going to do that now.

Coming here was a mistake. Not only am I hurting after the revelations of today, but now I've hurt Luca. Again.

"Argh," I cry, my hand tugging at my hair in frustration for all the fucking mistakes I'm making. And as ever, they all lead back to Kane fucking Legend.

The memories from the parking lot threaten to come back to me once more but I stuff them back down, afraid that if I think about her words or the way she looked at him again that I won't come back from it.

"Let, you okay?" Leon calls, concern evident in his voice.

"Yeah, I'll be out in a minute."

Pushing from the door, I make use of the toilet before washing my hands and splashing my face with water and attempting to sort out the mess that is my makeup after all the tears and… kissing.

Fucking hell.

Realizing that I can't hide in his bathroom all night, I reluctantly pull the door open and face Leon.

Thankfully, he's pulled on a new shirt so I'm not faced with his insane body forcing me to remember just how it felt pressed up against mine.

Walking over to where he's sitting on his bed, I curl my legs up under me and sit opposite him.

"I shouldn't have come here. I've made everything so much worse. I just… I just needed you."

"It's okay, Let. You know we're here if you need us."

"But—" I look over at the door, wondering where Luca has run off to and if he's okay.

"He'll be okay."

"I never should have asked him to—"
