"That probably shouldn't have happened," Leon confesses, climbing from the floor and swiping up his shirt from the carpet and handing it to me.

"Thank you," I whisper, taking it from him and tugging it over my head to cover up.

He drops to the bed beside me and lets out a loud sigh.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have let—"

"Lee," I say, reaching for his hand. "None of that was your fault. Please don't—"

"I didn't need to encourage it, or continue. You just looked so sad, Let," he says, reaching for my face, cupping my cheek and turning me to look at him.
