Zara didn’t sit. She looked at Angela instead. “Angie, you’re okay?”

“Yep, absolutely. We just need a roomie chat.”

Bored with waiting around, he urged her to walk. Then, zipping a wink Zara’s way, reassuring her he would not strangle Angela.

He got it. He was a scary guy marching a young girl into a private area. But, they should all know by now, Angela was safest when she was with him.

He would die for her, but was that love?

Love was noble and selfless, or similar crap like that, as he saw with his brothers. Emotions didn’t dictate his actions. But if she wanted him to kill a football field full of dumbasses? He’d do it without question.

Love?

If it was love, god help them all.

But he’d been mindful. Yeah, that sounded right. Mindful that he didn’t destroy her.

“What’s going on? I can’t be seen to have special privileges because I know the owners; it looks bad on me.”

She looked excited even as she tried to tell him she was annoyed. Her eyes, so full of lust, gave her away every time. The second the door was closed behind them, he slammed her back against it, swallowing her shocked noise with his mouth.

He didn’t only kiss her.

It was a living consumption, unable to hold himself in check.

Angela’s moan shook through him, darting her stimulation off his bones.

She tasted of sinful innocence.

Initiating virgins would have had him turning a bored stare at the begging piece of meat or tossed them to someone else to break in.

Angela was rearranging all his beliefs into chaotic stacks.

The unparalleled, life-altering shit she made him feel raged right over Lawless’ frontal lobe, causing him to act in reckless ways as he pushed her up against the door, fucking her mouth, giving her no room to feel seduced. He prized Angela’s lips open and controlled them with slashes of his tongue until he pulled back, breathing through his clenched teeth. There was a glazed look on Angela’s face, and it marginally tamed some of the fire inside of him before he fucked her against a door.

“You want to explain that back there?” He rasped in her face.

“What? Oh, you mean Zara? She was just being protective. I’ve already talked to her about you.”

“Touching that boy wonder.”

Understanding made her grin. “Oh, hugging Josh? I was saying bye. He was heading to the airport. Are you jealous, grumpy?”

It roared inside him like a strange thing coming to life.

“You wanna keep working the lip? Fine, I’ll give your mouth something to do. Pull up that stool behind you. Do it now, Angela,” he prompted darkly. She followed his order with quickness, which pleased him but didn’t stop the rush of blood in Lawless’ ears to take her.

He’d been too fucking lenient these past few days, getting her used to him.

“I’ve gone too soft on you, haven’t I? You didn’t listen when I said you belonged to me.” Clink-clink went his belt buckle as he pulled it free of his jeans.
