And just like that, we fall into a routine, me and the Finster. A delicious routine of sex, snacks and shows.

With the new agreement that Fin and Susie came to, Susie takes Nell on Sunday evenings and returns her to Fin on Monday afternoon. That leaves his Sunday late nights completely free for sexy adventures with me.

So, after we have dinner at Susie’s the following Sunday, Fin comes to my place and we have sex on the kitchen island, then cuddle on the couch to watch my show.

The next weekend, we have sex in the shower again – clearly a new favorite – and watch another episode.

It only takes a few weeks for the Sexy Sundays to start leaking into other days as well. Fin finds out I have Fridays off and comes over one morning for a little wake-me-up good time.

One random Wednesday, he’s waiting for me at my front door after I get back from yoga. He doesn’t even let me shower before his mouth is on me, sending me to that happy place that only he can seem to help me find.

There’s an unspoken agreement that we don’t talk about having sex outside of the times we’re actually getting busy. Which means we also don’t contact each other about it.

So, sometimes, it can get a little awkward.

Like last week, when Fin showed up at my door in a leather jacket and faded jeans and found me drinking wine and watchingE.T.with Susie.

She wasn’t too pleased with the fact that he came over to have sex with me and left Nell with Lydia for a few extra hours.

I sipped my wine and tried to focus on precious little Drew Barrymore as the two of them argued in my kitchen.

Then there was last week, when he showed up when I was on my period. Let me just say that I was not dissatisfied by his level of interest in having sex with me.

It’s all going really well. Orgasms abundant. Conversation and hanging out afterwards. Friendship, maybe.

Which is why things fall apart. Because itisgoing really well. But it still isn’t what I want. Something is missing.
