Page 112 of Like You Want It
“Is this what you want?” Fin asks, his strokes coming at a solid, steady pace. He doesn’t even sound winded and I feel like I might need a new pair of lungs any second. “You want me to take you like this?”
I nod, the only action I’m able to take.
We stay like that for I don’t know how long, his stamina astounding me. He keeps a pace that has me squinting my eyes shut, barely able to handle the pulses and pleasure that are racing through my body.
“Are you close?” he asks, reaching forward, his fingers dusting lightly against my center.
I nod again, knowing that if I try to say anything, I’m going to shout down the rooftop.
He pinches my clit between his fingers and tugs, thrusting at the same time, and I can feel my body, which has been steadily climbing that peak again, finally reach the top.
“I’m… oh, god.” And then I breathe out, a panting breath and a low moan.
Fin places a hand over my mouth and keeps thrusting, not taking my statement as a cue but choosing instead to keep going.
And then he’s coming too. Grunting into my ear and rubbing himself off to finish.
I collapse forward, my head resting on the couch, my blood rushing through my body, trying to find a place to rest.
For just a moment, he arranges his body on top of mine, bent over at the waist, skin to skin, the sticky sweet sweat coating us both. He kisses the back of my neck, a few times down my shoulder, and my heart pitches over as well.
I picture us tumbling in to my bed, not even showering. Just staying dirty and falling asleep, finding each other again in the middle of the night.
But just as quick as that idea pops into my mind, Fin pulls out and starts putting his clothes back on.
I move to the couch and grab a blanket, tuck it around my body. Wondering why my own movements make me feel slightly ashamed. Like the act of covering my body means Ineedto be covered.
“I’m gonna take off,” he says once his boxers and jeans are back on, his face focused and stern. “Mind if I snag a bottle of water?”
He doesn’t even look at me when he asks, so I don’t know how he knows that I nod my head, but he does, reaching out to grab one from my fridge.
I see his jaw tick slightly and then he glances at me. “We should do this each week. Have a little fun.” He shrugs. “You know, for however long it works out.”
I have a few choices in front of me. I can get upset that he’s closing off after sex. I can get angry at him for not knowing what I want. Or I can acknowledge that he’s finally saying whathewants, and in turn, ask for exactly whatIwant.
Choosing the latter, I shrug off my blanket of shame and walk towards him, completely naked, wrapping my arms around his middle and nuzzling in. His whole body tenses, and he just stands there, still.
Letting go, I take a step back to the couch and lean against the armrest, poising my body in a way that I know is pleasing to his eye.
“If we’re going to do this,” I say keeping my voice sultry but confident, “I have a few ground rules.”
I’m literally pulling this out of my ass, but I’m hopeful that he’ll listen. So when he’s silent, I launch in. “First of all, don’t treat me like I’m a come dumpster.”
His eyes widen at my crass words, the shock on his face apparent, and I can see a quick rebuttal forming on his lips.
“I’m a human being with feelings, and acting like I’m just a place to stick your dick makes me feel like a piece of trash. Or a sex doll. Neither of which are a flattering thing to feel. Second of all, I like to cuddle. So we’re going to do that. A lot. If you want to sleep with me, you’ll be expected to stick around for at least an hour afterwards, if not longer. And lastly, I’m a person who enjoys sex, but I’m also a person who likes conversation and friendship. This kind of ties my other points together. You don’t get to just stick your dick in and bounce. We need to be friends. Chat. Spend time together. So don’t forget that once you walk out the door tonight.”
He stays silent, choosing – wisely in my opinion – not to say whatever he’d planned to say earlier.
And then he nods. Just a quick one, but it’s there.
So I take that as a cue that he is totally on the same page, whether that’s what he means or not.
I grab the blanket again, feeling likenowis a good time to snuggle up in the couch.
Then I look up at Fin as I scoop up the Apple TV remote.
“So. What do you want to watch while we cuddle?”
