"Father, we’ve only just acknowledged each other, haven’t we? Since my identity wasn’t confirmed at first, it wasn’t appropriate for me to mention this, right?" Feng Wuyou blinked her large, beautiful eyes and spoke confidently.

Jun Moqing felt that his daughter had a point, though in his eyes, they had acknowledged each other from the moment they reunited.

Who knew his daughter had such thoughts hidden away?

No wonder she had flatly refused when he initially offered to help her recover her memories—it was all because she felt guilty.

"Did you paint them?" Jun Moqing was somewhat eager to see what his grandchildren look like, wondering if they were as adorable as his daughter had been as a child.

Caught off guard by the question, Feng Wuyou realized that she hadn’t painted her darling babies, despite their cuteness; a real shame. From now on, she must paint them once a year, so when they grow up, they would know what they looked like as children.

"Father, I forgot to paint them."

Hearing this, Jun Moqing felt a twinge of disappointment, "Then, we’ll have to go to Daxia to see them."

Upon hearing Jun Moqing’s tone, Jun Wuxian guessed that he was anxious to meet Taotao and Susu.

"Father, Taotao and Susu are boy and girl twins. Susu looks a lot like Xiao Jinyan did as a child."

At this, Jun Moqing looked over, "You’ve seen them?"

Thinking of Taotao and Susu’s appearances, Jun Wuxian nodded with a smile, "Yes, I saw them once on Champine Street before coming here; they are very cute and clever."

Feng Wuyou looked at Jun Wuxian with puzzlement, "When did Taotao and Susu go to Champine Street? Who took them there?"

Jun Wuxian replied, "On Valentine’s Day, their grandparents took them out to play. Coincidentally, I arrived in the Capital that day and happened to meet them."

Feng Wuyou then realized, it was the Emperor and the Empress who had gone out for Valentine’s Day and had taken Taotao and Susu with them.

"These two rascals were probably as excited as mythical beasts freed from a cage the first time they left the palace, impossible to hold back."

"That’s true, the excitement in Susu was so great, she bumped right into me. When I saw her pink, tender little face, it felt like seeing you as a child," reminisced Jun Wuxian, glancing at Xun Qingqing. "Qingqing was there, too; that’s how I learned those two kids were yours."

Xun Qingqing smiled, "I miss those two little ones already."

Feng Wuyou turned to Xiao Jinyan, "Does Susu really look like me?"

Xiao Jinyan thought of his young daughter, who, though only a little over a year old when he last saw her, was as gluttonous as Jinyan.

"Yes, very much, especially fond of eating."

Feng Wuyou thought of the little one running away with food in hand and nodded in agreement, "Makes sense, already knows how to compete with me for food."

Xiao Jinyan also remembered how Susu, only being allowed to taste food by Jinyan, soon learned to grab the delicacies and run.

Listening to their conversation, Jun Moqing grew even more curious to meet the two grandchildren he had not yet seen. Perhaps due to his experiences as a doting father, he wanted to recall what it was like raising his daughter through these little ones.

"Then let’s get prepared and head to Daxia sooner."

Not only was Jun Moqing impatient, but Feng Wuyou was equally eager to return.

"It’s time to properly prepare for the return to Daxia; I’m afraid the two little ones might not remember me and Jinyan."

Before going back to Daxia, the first thing was to recover Feng Wuyou’s memories, but that would be two days later.

After dinner, Feng Wuyou and Xiao Jinyan returned to the Side Hall. As soon as they entered, Xiao Jinyan embraced her, and she could smell the scent of wine on him.

"What’s the matter, have you been drinking?"

Xiao Jinyan whispered in her ear, "I’ve only had two taels, not enough to get drunk, I just wanted to hold you."

Feng Wuyou couldn’t help laughing, "We see each other every day, there’s no need for such sentimentality."

But Xiao Jinyan held her tightly, insisting she feels his happiness at the moment.

"I feel like I am dreaming."

Feng Wuyou looked up, "Hmm?"

Xiao Jinyan spoke softly, "Ten years ago, I thought I had lost you. Thank goodness you reappeared before me, thank goodness my affection is still for you."

"How can you say you lost me? It was the kidnappers who separated me from my father for so many years."

As Feng Wuyou spoke, her sparkling eyes fixed on Xiao Jinyan for a good while, "You always believed I was Feng Wuyou, so why would you say such things? Do you know how heartbroken I was?"

She had even planned an escape route - to return to Daxia and separate from Xiao Jinyan, taking Susu with her, while Taotao, being a prince, would have to stay with Xiao Jinyan.

In her Space, she had plenty of treasures and gold and silver. Even if she had a big appetite, there was enough for three lifetimes, enough for Susu, too.
