I don't know how long I spent looking at the ground after Leah and Seth left. I was lost within my own thoughts, but I was broken from them when I heard my name being called from the house.

Deciding to address the topic of my biological siblings at a later date, I started running back home towards Emmet's voice.

Pearl appeared on the back porch next to Emmet in a flash, and asked, "What's up?"

Emmet grinned widely at the hybrid and announced, "It's time to test the newborn." He smirked.

Pearl chuckled, and nodded her head.

The two of them started setting up a small area for an arm wrestle to take place between Emmet and Bella. Complete with spectator stands so that everyone else could bare witness to the challenge.

Everyone (minus Rosalie, Bree and Renesmee) gathered in the backyard, to watch the contest of strength.

Emmet and Bella placed their elbows on the rocky platform and locked their hands together, ready to start the competition. Bella appeared slightly nervous, but Emmet was oozing with confidence.

Jasper counted them down. "All right. On three. One, two, three!"

The arm wrestle between Emmet and Bella was initiated.

Emmet began grunting almost immediately as he tried to push Bella's hand down.

Bella got her bearings rather quickly when she realised just how much stronger she was.

Emmet was putting all of his strength into it, and Bella's hand hardly moved from its original position.

Seeing Emmet's struggle, Pearl couldn't help but begin snickering from the sidelines. From beside Pearl, Edward stared at his wife with a proud smile on his face.

Bella started putting her strength into it and forced Emmet's hand against the rock. Breaking parts of the stone off from the force of the impact. Making Bella the winner of the arm wrestle.

Bella turned to Edward in amazement and said, "Did you see that?" She chuckled in disbelief of her own abilities.

Emmet sulked off and stood next to Pearl, silently sulking.

"Aww, does it hurt Emmet? Guess your not the strongest in the house anymore, huh?" Pearl teased her vampire brother.

Emmet grunted, then replied sarcastically, "Let's see if you do any better."

"Wanna bet?" Pearl answered confidently.

Emmet smirked at her and responded with, "50 bucks says you get destroyed."

"You're on. Hey Bella? It's my turn." Pearl announced loudly.

Bella nodded and the two girls moved into position. Pearl occupied Emmet's previous position. The newborn and the hybrid locked their right hands together, and waited for Jasper to count them down.

"One, two, three!" Jasper spoke in anticipation.

Pearl and Bella started pushing against each other's hands immediately. They appeared fairly even. Neither girl was giving an inch. They stayed in that position for a few minutes. Both fighting to push the other down with all they've got.

Everyone stared at the girls with wide eyes. More specifically, they stared at Pearl. The hybrid was holding her own against a newborn's new found strength. It was incredible to witness.

Finally, the stand still was broken. But it didn't go the way everyone expected it to.

Pearl was the one pushing Bella's hand down. The newborn vampire was unable to counter the hybrid's strength, and when Bella's hand smashed into the rock, she had to admit defeat.

"Hah! Take that Emmet! You owe me 50 bucks!" Pearl joyously shouted.

Emmet stared at her in disbelief, with his mouth agape. "I... what... how?" He grumbled out, still in complete shock.

Bella walked over to Edward, feeling slightly humbled. Edward wrapped his arms around his wife and gazed at her lovingly. Kissing her on the forehead. Bella reciprocated and brought his face down lower, to give him a proper kiss on the lips.

When the shock of what happened passed, Emmet begrudgingly handed Pearl 50 dollars, whilst muttering many complaints. And Pearl continued to tease him about his embarrassing loss.

Carlisle eventually got people's attention by speaking up. "Pearl, perhaps we should run some tests on you. Figure this out?"

Pearl frowned slightly, then replied, "As long as there's no needles, I'm okay with it." She shrugged nonchalantly at the end.

"No, no needles." Carlisle promised her while chuckling slightly.

Emmet playfully blurted out, "Still scared of needles huh?"

Pearl groaned loudly. "Shut up." She muttered as she rolled her eyes at him.

Jasper chuckled slightly as Emmet started laughing. Finding it a bit ridiculous that a supernatural vampire shifter hybrid was still terrified of something as simple as a needle.

Bella and Edward sped off into the forest, to presumably have some alone time in their cabin. Esme and Alice retreated inside the house. Which left Emmet, Jasper, Carlisle and Pearl to venture off into the woods to find an open space, so that they could test out Pearl's new found strength.
