Story: The Phantom Wolf
"Get off of him." Sam ordered the silver coloured wolf, using his alpha voice.
Pearl tried to resist the affects, but was unable to do so, since resisting brought a lot of pain. And right now, her adrenaline had started to wear off, so she was feeling it.
Pearl eventually complied and let Jacob up. It was obvious to everyone that Jacob intended on carrying on the fight, so Sam intervened yet again.
"Jacob! Stand down." He ordered with his alpha voice.
Jacob reluctantly stopped snarling at Pearl and turned his attention to his alpha. Neither he nor Pearl, made any move to shift back. Having destroyed their clothes when they shifted, meant that they had none to change into.
Sam looked between the two wolves and sighed. Focusing on Jacob, he said what he felt needed to be said, regarding Isabella Swan, who was now a Cullen. "Jacob, Bella is not our problem any longer. You need to let her go." He said sternly.
Jacob whined and growled at Sam, before turning away from all of them and running off. The rest of the boys made no move to stop him, choosing instead to focus on the silver wolf that stood in front of them. Sam looks at Pearl and uses his alpha voice once more.
"Follow us." He demanded, turning away from everyone, he starts walking back towards the treaty line and the reservation.
Pearl's paws moved on their own, following the alpha and the rest of the pack.
Being so focused on the alphas order, Pearl was unaware that Bree and Emmet were standing some distance away, watching her leave with the shifters.
The two vampires had come to find her after she had disappeared from the party.
Once the Quileutes reached and crossed over the treaty line, all of the boys shifted, including Seth, who they had collected from the wedding on their way to find Jacob.
The black wolf, Sam, turned to Pearl.
'Who are you?' He asked firmly.
Seeing no point in hiding who she was any longer, Pearl displayed her mind to the pack.
She showed how she was the wolf from the clearing.
The one who had been watching them all fight the new born vampires.
And, the one who had imprinted on one of the new borns.
Pearl showed them all Bree, and she showed how much she cared for not only her imprint, but her imprint's family as well.
The Cullens. And, she showed herself, standing amongst them all.
'I am Pearl Clearwater' Pearl remarked, once she was done showing them all what she wanted them to see.
'What the?' Quil said.
'How?!' Paul shouted.
'You disappeared months ago!' Jared called out.
'... Pearl?' Seth whined in complete disbelief.
The other members were shocked and remained silent not showing any direct messages to the silver wolf, trying to process the information, once they did, all of their thoughts echoed through the link all at once, which made it challenging to understand.
'Well. Now that I've answered your question, I'm going to leave. I have an imprint and a family to return to.' Pearl communicated snidely, thinking about Bree and the Cullens.
'... family?' Seth whispered sadly.
Pearl paid him no mind, choosing to ignore his whimpering and whining. Intending to jump back over the treaty line to return to the party, she was stopped in her tracks by Sam's voice once again.
'You're not leaving.' Sam ordered. 'You've got a lot of explaining to do.'
Facing Sam, Pearl growled out in frustration.
'What gives you the right to tell me what to do?!' She shouted angrily.
'I am your Alpha.' Sam said bluntly. 'We're going back to the house. Follow us.' He ordered Pearl.
Unable to resist the pull, Pearl ran alongside the pack, until they reached the pack house.
Emily greeted them at the door. The boys all got changed behind the trees and started entering the house one by one.
Sam stopped in front of Emily greeting his imprint and then informed her that Pearl needed some clothes.
Emily was surprised to hear her fiancé say her cousins name, and was even more surprised seeing the new wolf standing in front of their house.
Even so, she quickly obliged and went inside to grab some spare clothes for the girl.
Sam turned to Pearl and told her, "You are gonna come inside the house, and explain yourself. And you aren't leaving until you do so." He ordered sternly.
Pearl growled angrily at him, but didn't move from her spot. She did bare her teeth and make her displeasure known though.
Before Sam could say anything else, Emily reappeared with some spare clothes in her hands. She placed them down on the ground in front of Pearl. Not getting to close to her, as it was obvious that the silver wolf was very unhappy.
'Tsk. I don't give a fuck anymore.' Pearl thought, completely pissed.
She shifted back right then and there. Making no move to hide herself.
Sam and Emily quickly looked away from her as soon as she did so, not expecting her to shift right in front of them.
Pearl picked up the clothes from the ground and begrudgingly put them on.
"Let's get this over with arsehole." She bit out towards Sam once she was fully changed. Walking past the two, Pearl entered the house, joining the rest of the boys inside.
