Recovering quickly, Cauis shouted at her, "Who do you think you are?!"

Aro stared at Pearl with intrigue, making no move to calm his raging brother.

Pearl stared at the blonde king with a threatening gaze, then answered him in a cold voice. "My name is Pearl McCarty, and you just tried to murder my cousin for no reason."

Cauis growled and Pearl responded with one of her own.

The hybrid's growl was much more prominent than the king's, and it resulted in a surprised silence sweeping over the Volturi and their witnesses.

The deep authoritative sound sent a shiver down the blonde king's spine, and many of the Volturi witnesses took an involuntary step back, once they registered the commanding presence.

With the aggravated king now stunned into silence, Pearl walked back over to Bree and Alistair, taking her previous position between the two.

Aro stepped forwards, staring at Pearl, and asked in a suspiciously polite tone. "Who might you be? We certainly haven't met before."

Instead of answering the king's question, Pearl responded with one of her own.

"Why should Irina be killed when she's broken no law?

The main laws are quite clear: don't reveal ourselves to humans, and don't create an immortal child.

As you can see, those laws were not broken today.

You and your followers have no reason to still be here. " She finished.

"Agreed. No laws have been broken. But can we say that there is no danger.

For the first time in our history, humans pose a threat to our kind.

Their modern advances have given birth to technology that could destroy us.

Never has it been more important to maintain our secret.

Only the known, is safe. Only the known, is tolerable.

And we know nothing about what this child might become.

We could avoid a fight today, only to die, tomorrow.

Should we take that risk?" Aro turned and addressed his followers, trying to sound sincere in his concern, in order to convince them to agree with him.

Pearl growled and pulled away from Bree, stepping forwards to address the delusional king once more.

"That's a bullshit excuse and you know it!

" She yelled, successfully redirecting Aro's attention onto her.

With everyone's eyes now on the older hybrid, Pearl continued, "Vampires are, and will always be, stronger than humans.

Humans can't hope to measure up to us. Whether they are advanced in technology, or not.

Are you seriously saying that our kind could really be destroyed by a lower life form?

Are you forgetting our immense capabilities?

The power to read minds, to inflict pain with a single glance, to manipulate emotions and to control the elements.

Not to mention our unparalleled strength and speed.

Humans have no hope of achieving such power, unless they become one of us.

The only thing that can threaten us, is those apart of the supernatural world.

Renesmee is half human, and half vampire.

She poses no more a threat to us, than any other vampire or shifter who stands here today. "

Marcus, the third Volturi king, looked to take Pearl's words to heart, whereas his brothers just seemed to get angrier by the second.

Just as Aro was about to argue with Pearl, she snapped at him.

"You're just grasping at straws because you want a fight!

You just want to add some more gifted vampires to your army.

You don't care about the law! The only thing you care about is acquiring more power! " She firmly accused the Volturi kings.

Aro stared at Pearl with a dark gaze. His anger was palpable, and everyone noticed. But Pearl wouldn't back down from her stance, her deep growl swept over the snow covered field, her alpha presence, pushed for the Volturi to submit to her.

Pearl's growl was only silenced, by the appearance of two more vampires.

Alice and Jasper emerged from the tree line, and headed directly towards the Volturi.

Aro gasped in delight upon seeing the seer.

Seemingly forgetting what Pearl had just accused him of.

And although his attention was diverted, many members of the Volturi still let their thoughts linger on what Pearl had said.

Pearl gazed at her two siblings, as they approached the guard. Once they were close enough, a few of the Volturi members grabbed ahold of the pair, which caused Pearl's body to tense up. She trusted her siblings judgement, but there wasn't any piece of her that trusted the Volturi.

"I have evidence that the child won't be a risk to our kind." Alice exclaimed from the guards hold. "Let me show you."

Aro seemed intrigued by the prospect, and gestured for her to come forwards.

Releasing her from their holds, the guards allowed Alice to approach the kings, but they kept a firm grip on her mate, much to Jasper's annoyance.

As Aro took her hand, he used his gift to look through her thoughts. The longer he looked, the more Alice's nerves grew.

When Alice made a realisation, she abruptly pulled her hand from Aro's hold. "It doesn't matter what I show you. Even when you see, you still won't change your decision." Turning around to face Bella, the pixie whispered, "Now."

Understanding the order, Bella sent Jacob away, with Renesmee clinging to his back. Alice quickly spun around and kicked Aro into the air, effectively taking the king and the Volturi by surprise.

Aro righted himself and landed on the ground with no issues. Members of the guard ceased Alice without hesitation, and Aro gave the order. "Take her away."

As Alice fought against the guard's hold, Carlisle loudly shouted to, "Let her go!" And proceeded to run directly towards the Volturi, intending to save his daughter.

"Dad!" Pearl shouted after him, leaving Bree's side to catch up to the patriarch.

Carlisle zeroed in on Aro, not noticing the gaining hybrid. Aro rushed forwards to meet the blonde head on. Both males jumped into the air to face each other.

Just before Aro could get his grip on Carlisle's head, Pearl's hand made contact with Carlisle's back.

Using her gift, she forced Carlisle's body into an intangible state, along with herself.

The hybrid's actions caused the two to fly straight through the Volturi king and land amongst the guard completely unharmed.

With the Volturi startled, Pearl took her chance and expanded her gift to Alice and Jasper, successfully freeing them from the guards. Before they could be apprehended again, Pearl grabbed ahold of her siblings and father, then jumped away from the Volturi.

Landing in the middle of the field, Pearl dropped her family members on the snow covered ground and jumped up into the air with a backflip.

Shifting into her silver wolf mid flip and destroying her clothing in the process, the hybrid then landed on the ground and stood over her three family members in a protective stance.

She snarled and snapped her jaws at the red coats, anticipating their next move.

Every single member of the Volturi stared at the silver wolf with stunned expressions. They had no idea that the newly revealed vampire, was also a wolf. Pearl's actions, were a great surprise to them all.

Using the opportunity, Jasper, Alice and Carlisle stood up and moved behind Pearl. It was clear from her stance, that she no longer wanted to talk. She was here for a fight. And none of them planned on getting in her way.

For once, Aro was left speechless. He had no idea how to respond. So Cauis was the one to take over.

Without hesitation, the blond king charged at Pearl's wolf with a vicious snarl escaping his throat.

Pearl immediately met him head on, and in an instant, with her enhanced speed and strength, she tore the king's head from his body, then chewed up his torso like a dog would a bone.

She shredded the blonde king to pieces without mercy, as the Volturi watched with mixed expression or horror, surprise and anger.

Seeing the rage in Aro's eyes, Pearl didn't hesitate. Lifting her muzzle to the sky in one swift motion, she let out a commanding howl, signalling the start of the battle.

In an instant, the united pack advanced upon the Volturi, with the rest of the Cullens and their witnesses in quick pursuit.

The Volturi responded quickly and rushed to meet their opponents, but before many of them could reach the grouped opposition, they were intercepted by a very large, very angry, silver shifted hybrid. And fighting by her side, was her fairly pissed of Texan brother.

Just as the others joined the chaos, Pearl and Jasper had already managed to do quite a number on the Volturi's ranks. Through the many fights that proceeded to break out, Emmet and Bree reached Pearl's side.

Tackling a Volturi guard who had managed to grab onto Pearl's fur, Emmet then reached behind him and grabbed ahold of Bree.

Startling her with his unexpected actions, Emmet used her surprise to toss the smaller vampire onto Pearl's back.

That way, Pearl could better protect her imprint, and Bree would be able to put more focus onto using her gift.

With Bree's gift being telekinesis, she was able to support their side and kill members of the Volturi with ease, even if she stayed on her mate's back the whole time.

A little ways away from the hybrid, Jane was using her gift on Jasper, forcing the Texan to the floor she successfully incapacitated him. Another guard went to tare Jasper apart, so Alice jumped into the fray, confronting the guard to protect her mate.

Bella stood off to the side and enveloped the two in her shield.

As Jasper rose to his feet, Jane realised that her gift had been nullified and attempted to run away.

Except, the blonde vampire managed to run straight into a scarred shifter who was lacking his left ear.

With zero hesitation, Sam tore Jane apart.

Seeing his twin get mutilated by the black furred shifter, distracted Alec enough to allow Jasper and Seth to get the jump on him. This meant that the second witch twin was destroyed swiftly by the combined efforts of Jasper and Seth.

Hearing the voice of a Volturi king, Pearl turned her head to the right.

Only to see Vladimir and Stefan tearing Marcus apart.

Looking past them, she noticed that one of their vampires had been pinned down by a member of the guard.

Reacting quickly, Pearl sprinted across the area and latched her jaws around the enemy vampire's head, easily crushing it between her teeth in one bite.

Pushing the fallen member of the Volturi off of his body, Alistair rose to his feet and stared at Pearl with shock and gratitude in his eyes. Pearl didn't stay long as she moved onto killing the next vampire quickly, but this time, as she did so, Alistair was also fighting by her side.

Some distance away, Benjamin created a ravine with his gift, and tore open the earth's crust. This caused many Volturi members to fall in.

Esme was almost dragged down by one of them, but Leah got there just in time and freed the matriarch from the guards' grip.

Unfortunately, Leah's actions caused her to fall backwards, down towards the lava at the bottom of the ravine.

Suddenly, Leah's wolf froze in mid air. Bree had seen the event occur from Pearl's back, and was using her gift to stop Leah from falling to her death.

She slowly raised the shifter back up to the snow covered field, and when Leah's wolf was close enough, Carlisle and Rosalie reached down to grab her fur and pull the she-wolf to safety.

At that moment, the final Volturi king was ripped apart by Edward and Bella. As the couple lit a torch and forced it to the beheaded vampire's face, Aro came out of Alice's vision.

The king looked around in shock, as he took in the fact that his coven would loose this confrontation. He glanced towards the opposition, and his gaze lingered on the girl that he now knew was both a vampire and a shifter.

"Now you know." Alice uttered, bringing the kings attention back to herself. "That's your future. Unless you decide on another course."

Aro remained silent, thinking over his options and recovering from the shock of seeing everything he had built be destroyed.

Cauis stepped forwards. "We cannot alter our course. The child still poses a grave threat-"

The blonde king was cut off by another threatening snarl from the vampire shifter hybrid.

Her interference drew Aro's attention once again. "Whether this child is a threat or not. That is no longer my main concern." His words caused surprise to sweep over the Volturi and the Olympic coven.

"What?" Cauis muttered in questioning and disbelief.

Aro's stare hardened towards Pearl. "My concern is the abomination that stands before us." He announced in a harsh tone.
