Story: The Phantom Wolf
Leah grabbed Pearl by the back of the neck and pushed her down, then dragged her outside of the house.
Leah acted so fast, that the rest of the pack had no time to react.
Pearl let Leah drag her outside, for she no longer cared what the consequences would be.
The sooner it was all over, the sooner she could leave.
Leah threw Pearl to the ground and started shouting about how Pearl disappeared for months and then she returns as a fricking vampire, and acts like it's no big deal. Like she's indifferent to all of them. Like they don't matter.
Pearl finally looses her temper, and shouts back, that they don't matter to her.
None of them matter to her. The only ones that matter to her now is Bree and the Cullens.
Everyone else is dead to her, just like how she's dead to them.
As soon as her dad died, Pearl was left behind.
All she is doing now is returning the favour.
She has left them, just like they left her. High and dry.
As soon as Pearl said that, Leah lost all control and shifted into her wolf. The white and grey wolf standing in Leah's place growled ferociously at Pearl, before lunging at her with its teeth bared.
Pearl reacted instantaneously and jumped to the side, further away from the house and the pack. The whole pack had vacated the house as soon as Leah took Pearl outside, and they were all witnessing the sisters dispute, that was quickly turning physical.
When Pearl's feet touched the floor, she let her anger take hold. Feeling the change from vampire to wolf. She shifted. Now standing as her silver wolf, Pearl snarled at her sister, challenging her.
Leah turned to face Pearl, the two she-wolves were tense and showing their aggression.
The wolves started circling each other, waiting for the chance to pounce.
Pearl had hidden her thoughts using her gift, so Leah had complete silence in her head.
She had no advantage against her sister. Not like Jacob did.
I made sure to lower my body to the ground, almost as if I was stalking her. With my legs bent and ready, I could ensure that I would have the power to either jump at her, or throw her off of me, if she struck first.
'Leah's always been aggressive. She'll attack first, I have no doubt.'
'You're dead!' I heard her scream inside my head.
Her wolf lunged at me, sinking her teeth into my left shoulder. Being so close to the ground, I had a clear view of her underside so I leaped forwards, despite the pain I felt, I bit into her abdomen.
Leah yelped in pain, letting go of my shoulder, I was able to throw her off of her feet with my head. I released her by opening my jaws, and then I pushed her away.
Leah landed on her right side a couple of metres away from me, bleeding from her stomach area. She didn't stay on the ground for long, getting to her feet, she snarled at me once again. This time, lowering herself to the ground more. She was in a pouncing position.
I charged at her, intending to knock her down again. She met me head on, throwing me up so that we were both on our hind legs pushing against each other with our front paws. Leah was trying to bite me, so I was trying to bite her.
We both got in some good bites. If the pain I felt on my neck and face, and the taste of blood in my mouth was anything to go by.
The blood didn't make me feel any different though. I didn't want to drain her, nor did I want more, or like the taste for that matter. I guess shapeshifter blood isn't very appealing to me. Not like a human's, or an animal's is.
Eventually, the two of us started rolling around on the ground, trying to get the upper hand. Both of us were covered in scratches and bite marks. Although it was clear, that Leah had taken on more damage.
Sam had had enough. He'd been watching the fight, and nothing was getting resolved.
The two girls were still pissed at each other, and neither was backing down, despite their multiple injuries.
At this rate, the fight won't end until one of them gets a life threatening injury and is unable to continue.
Sam quickly moved away from his pack and his imprint.
Shifting into his pure black wolf, he launched himself at the two she-wolves, who were on top of each other, still biting and clawing away at their opponent.
'ENOUGH!' Sam ordered through the link. He pushed the girls apart and stood between the two.
'Stay out of this Sam!' Leah shouted, pushing past the alpha and latching onto Pearl's side again with her teeth.
Pearl spun around quickly and shook her off, then jumped on top of Leah and pinned her to the ground.
Pearl attempted to push her muzzle into Leah's neck to bite her, but was unable to.
Since Sam had jumped on top of the two girls and grabbed Pearl's scruff, effectively halting her attack on her older sister.
Sam forcibly pulled Pearl off of Leah. Pearl tried to struggle against him, but Sam held her in a firm grip.
One that would cause her to rip the skin and fur away from her neck if she really tried to pull away.
Before Leah could stand up and take another shot at Pearl, Sam gave a powerful alpha order.
'Stay down!' He bellowed through the link. Leah had no choice but to comply. She laid down on her stomach. Growling slightly as she watched the black wolf and the silver wolf.
Sam finally released Pearl from his grip. Pearl turned to face him, growling angrily.
'That is enough!' Sam ordered. 'Stand down!'
Pearl gave him a death glare, and opened her mind so that he could hear her.
'Fuck you!' Pearl screamed in his face.
'Pearl-' Sam started but was unable to finish his train of thought.
As Pearl had lunged at Sam. Breaking through the alpha order, she attacked him. Biting into Sam's neck, Pearl attempted to throw him to the ground.
