As promised, Pearl spent the next couple of days assisting Alice with whatever she needed.

With the combined strength of a vampire and a shifter, Pearl's strength was a fairly even match to Emmets, when they wrestled.

The added strength that Pearl could provide, was certainly being put to use by the pixie haired vampire. By the end of it, Pearl was exhausted.

Whenever Pearl wasn't being Alice's personal helper, she was spending time with Bree.

They weren't able to do too much, but they went on small walks together, away from the house and any prying eyes and ears.

The two of them got to know each other a little better.

They got to know the small things. Like how Bree's favourite colour was green and that she enjoyed painting.

How Pearl didn't really have a favourite colour and that she liked drawing with pens and pencils.

The two girls allocated some time together each day in order to become better friends.

With everything that Pearl was doing to keep herself busy, she hadn't gotten the opportunity to really give Carlisle's and Esme's offer much thought. However, whenever she did get a small break, a moment of silence. Their offer, was all she could think about.

On the second day of helping out Alice, Bree decided to join her. She brought up the possibility of attending Edward's and Bella's wedding. Alice, having heard the conversation from another room, stopped preparing for a moment, to talk to the two girls.

"Absolutely nothing will happen if you both attend the wedding." Alice stated confidently, entering the room that the girls were working in.

"How could you possibly know that?" Pearl sighed exasperatedly.

Alice raised her eyebrow at the hybrid and looked at her like she was stupid. Bree giggled quietly at Pearl's cluelessness.

"I see the future dumbass!" Alice announced, slightly frustrated by Pearl's doubt.

"Language!" Esme scolded from somewhere in the house.

Ignoring Esme, Alice continued. "The both of you will be absolutely fine if you stay together.

And Emmet and Jasper will be staying near you, so if anything were to happen, which it won't, they would be right there to help.

Besides, we'll all be looking out for the two of you.

So trust us. Nothing bad is going to happen.

" She finished and looked at the hybrid and new born respectively.

Pearl still looked unsure. However, Bree spoke up in a quiet voice. "I'd like to go." She said, looking towards Pearl with puppy dog eyes.

Pearl sighed. 'The things I do for this girl.' She thought. "Fine. I'll accompany you Bree."

Alice squealed in delight and announced that she would buy outfits for the two of them. Before Pearl could protest, Alice fled the room, leaving the two girls alone.

"It won't be too bad." The new born stated kindly.

"I hope you're right Bree." Pearl answered, returning to her previous task. Bree continued to assist her, smiling happily and started chatting away to the hybrid.

The two of them having become much closer since their conversation about imprinting and mates. Their little get togethers each day also sped up that process. Neither would admit it, but they had both come to care for the other a little more since their last conversation.

On the 4th day, the day before the wedding. Pearl assisted the family in setting up the seating area for the guests. Bree remained on the deck with Alice and Bella. The latter, was practicing wearing heels for her big day.

"Umm... you just have to break them in." Alice declared. After Bella stumbled once more.

"I've been breaking them in, for three days." Bella complained.

"Walking in heels is a skill." Bree commented, and then added teasingly, "A skill that not everyone has."

Bella frowned slightly and turned to Alice who was side eyeing Bree. "Can I just go barefoot?"

Alice's eyes widened in horror, then she quickly shut the idea down. "No. Absolutely not."

Bree grinned at the two. "Oh come on Alice. Give the girl a break."

Bella smiled at Bree in thanks, whilst Alice gave Bree another side eyed look.

"I'm just thinking it's a little much you know, the dress and the shoes, and, all of this." Bella says as she gestures to the yard, that had the Cullen family and Pearl setting a multitude of things up.

"It does look pretty though." Bree complimented.

Alice gasps dramatically at Bree. "Of course it does. I designed it. I swear, you people have no faith in me."

Turning to Bella, Alice denied her statement. "No. It's exactly enough. Tomorrow will be perfect." She smiled at Bella reassuringly.

Emmet and Rosalie, followed by Pearl, walked up to the three whilst carrying giant logs that were supposed to be used as a seating area. Emmet questioned Alice, "Where do you want them boss?"

"On either side of the aisle." Alice answered.

"What aisle?" Rosalie asked.

"No aisle here." Pearl added.

"Does no one have vision." Alice complained, walking down the steps to direct the clueless group.

Bree giggled at the exchange and turned to Bella, who looked worried.

"Hey?" Bree said.

Bella hummed in response.

"You're gonna be fine." Bree tried to reassure the anxious bride to be.

Bella's nodded her head slowly. "Thanks Bree."

"You're welcome! And if you're worried about the shoes, I could always hide them for you." The vampire smiled.

Bella chuckled, unable to respond as Alice's voice broke through the yard.

"Don't you dare Bree Tanner!" Alice screeched.

"Kidding!" Bree quickly shouted back. Then turned to Bella and whispered.

"I'm not kidding. Just say the word and I'll get rid of them. Heck! I'm pretty sure if I asked Pearl, she'd eat them for you!"

Bella's face broke into a wide grin before she burst out laughing. Bree joining in shortly after.

"I heard that!" Alice shouted, cutting into the laughter.

The two girls calmed down but still let out the occasional giggle, at the thought of the hybrid chewing up the dreaded heels. Until a certain voice rang out.

"For the record! I do not chew shoes!" Pearl shouted.

"Aww... but isn't that what dogs are supposed to do?" Emmet teased loudly.

Pearl glared at Emmet and then replied, "Gimme a deer leg with meat on it or a big bone. Then we'll talk."

Emmet's laughter swept over the yard and it was quickly joined by many others. Bree and Bella couldn't help but laugh at Pearl's ridiculous response as well.

When the laughter died down a few minutes later.

Bree turned to Bella once again, and handed her the shoes she was wearing previously.

Bella quickly shook off her heels and put on her normal shoes.

But before either girl could pick up the discarded heels.

They were swiped from the ground and held in the air by an invisible force.

Both girls let out a scream in surprise.

Which caused a now laughing Pearl, to become visible once again.

"Hahaha! That doesn't get old!" Pearl wheezed out between laughs.

The vampire and human's surprise quickly turned into annoyance.

"You jerk!" Bree insulted.

"Not cool Pearl." Bella said sternly.

"Heh. Maybe not fun for you. But to me, that was hilarious." Pearl giggled, still holding the heels in her hands.

"What are you? Five?" Bella asked in a slightly teasing tone.

Pearl stopped laughing and huffed in response. "Geez. Okay. Tough crowd, I guess."

The girls only glared at the hybrid.

"Hey. You were the ones who compared me to a dog. You started this." Pearl defended.

Bree and Bella looked at each other, making eye contact before reluctantly agreeing.

"That's fair." Bree answered and Bella nodded.

Pearl smirked at the two in victory, before gesturing to the shoes that she was still holding.

"Want me to get rid of these?" Pearl said whilst grinning.

Bella looked at her pleadingly then nodded her head.

"You got it sis." Pearl smiled. Then turned invisible again. The ghastly heels disappearing along with her.

Alice sped up to the decking and shouted out frustratedly. "Pearl Clearwater! You get back here right now!"

Pearls laughter could be heard from somewhere in the yard. Alice could only sigh after hearing it.

Turning to Bella, Alice said firmly, "You, go home and get lots of beauty sleep. That's an order."

Bella looked down for a moment, then nodded. "Okay."

The human hugged Alice and waved bye to Bree, before leaving.

Bree glanced at Alice, then spoke when Bella was out of earshot. "You know she's gonna be way to nervous to sleep. Right?" She said.

Alice turned to Bree questioningly. "Everything will be amazing. She has nothing to worry about." Alice smiled. "I however, do... PEARL! Bring back those heels!" She shouted.

After which, the pixie ran off to go hunt down the hybrid and reclaim the shoes that she stole.

Alice was eventually able to capture Pearl and recover the stolen heels, only once she enlisted the help of Jasper, Emmet and Bree in order to do so.

Bree being the main asset, as she was able to lure Pearl to a certain location, being the ghostly shifter's imprint and all.

Where the rest of them were able to jump the hybrid. To get back the future brides heels.
