Page 46 of Corrupted Pleasure
My eyes searched the floor for my panties and then I remembered. He tucked them into his pockets.
“Ummm, I’m going to need my panties,” I murmured, looking anywhere but at him.
Juliette’s dad. Of all the people in the world, why him? Though I loved every second of it.
“No.”
My eyes flickered to his gaze, and I glared at him annoyed. He shifted on the couch, adjusting himself, and I couldn’t help but notice the impressive bulge pressing against the fly of his jeans. He was hard, yet he didn’t try to fuck me. Was all this meant to punish me?
It wasn’t much of a punishment. He just delivered the best orgasm I’ve had in my entire life.
“I don’t want to sit in an Uber for two hours without panties,” I snapped. “Give me back my panties.”
“You’re right,” he retorted and I sighed. At least he had some sense. “You’ll be sitting in my car for two hours without panties.”
Wait. What?
He stood up and his hand came to my lower back, nudging me forward.
“Mr. Brennan, you-”
He cut me off. “Liam.”
“W-what?”
“Davina, I just ate your pussy like my life depended on it,” he drawled while his words lit a match throughout my body. “You’ll call me Liam.”
I opened my mouth, then closed it, and opened it again, but no words came out.
“That’s settled.” A small smile tugged at his lips and my heart fluttered. It fucking fluttered. A little orgasm and oral sex, and I was a simp for this man. What was wrong with me? I was a strong, independent woman.
“Grab the backpack with my stolen money,” he urged me and I blinked my eyes. I almost forgot about the damn money. It was the whole reason I was in this situation. God, the girls and I really were the worst damn criminals to walk this earth.
I took two steps, and picked up the backpack, then let him lead me out of the office and down the hallway. Halfway through, we ran into two men. One of them I recognized as Liam’s right hand man, Quinn.
I avoided looking at him, worried he’d read on my face what his boss, and I did back in that office. My eyes shifted to the man next to him.
“Holy smokes,” I muttered under my breath.
This guy was fucking hotness on two legs. Tall, about six foot three. Dark hair and even darker eyes.
“Don’t get any ideas, a mhuirnín,” Liam whispered into my ear, his tall frame pulling me into him.
I turned my head to watch Liam’s profile. Whatever he said, it was hot as fuck to hear him say it. I wanted to hear him say it again, but this was hardly the place for it.
“Where is Basilio?” Liam asked, his voice so cold, I was sure I misheard him. Just a minute ago, he growled and chuckled and now he looked downright threatening. But at least it wasn’t towards me. “Dante, I asked a question,” Liam snapped.
I blinked, my eyes darting between the three men. I had no fucking idea who Basilio was, but it was apparently who Liam wanted. And I had a feeling whatever Liam wanted, he got.
“He had some business to attend to,” the dark-haired man replied calmly. He looked Italian. “I’ll get him the papers, don’t worry. His papà will get a confirmation tonight.”
If his tanned skin tone and dark eyes weren’t enough proof of his Italian heritage, the way he said papà certainly was.
“Don’t fuck with me, Dante,” Liam told him coolly. “The deal was Basilio gets the deed. I won’t have any of you DiLustros fucking it up.”
Dante DiLustro.
Hmmm, the name sounded vaguely familiar though I couldn’t quite place it. But I knew one thing for sure from Juliette, her family hated the Italians. She called their mafia ruthless, evil, and cruel. Though she never expanded on it and somehow that made me nervous as hell.
