Story: My Tempting Woman
Chapter 4. Welcome to LA
The moment the plane landed in LA, a feeling of nervousness filled Eva's mind. she was feeling very awkward staying at their place
It was not something she ever liked; she didn’t want to burden anyone.
After some time, she was walking out of the airport when she found Mrs. Smith wearing an expensive dress already waiting for her; she was also trying to spot her.
But what astonished her was the team of guards that were surrounding Mrs. Smith. Eva thought her friends were right when they were talking about the wealth and fame of the Smith family; this thought made her more conscious about herself. She checked her appearance first. She was wearing a loose t-shirt with trousers as it was comfortable for her while traveling; her hair was into a messy bun. She again peeked at Rose, who was looking more like a lady who just attended a high society party or event.
She cursed herself for even comparing her with the Smiths, so she kept the thoughts behind and faced Rose Smith.
She started moving towards her. Soon Mrs. Smith spotted her and can’t wait to meet her. Eva was going to forward her hand for a handshake, but before she could do it, Rose took her in a tight hug. Eva was stunned; she also wrapped her arms around that lady. After a few minutes, Rose broke the hug; she wiped the tears brimming in her eyes. Now Eva knows why her dad conceded her to stay with the Smith family.
“You are so pretty, dear, just like... Your mom.. Come, let’s go home."
Eva just nodded at her before they could move. Two well-built men surrounded them, and one of them took the luggage from Eva’s hand. Eva was not used to this kind of service; she tried to refuse but Rose stopped her
“It’s ok, they will handle that."
"Ok,” Eva doesn’t want to argue with Rose and looks like a mannerless girl, so she just endured it.
Rose held her hand like she was a toddler coming out of school, Eva didn’t stop her; it was after a long time she found someone who resembled her mother so much, Eva remembered how her mother used to hold her hand in public places When they reached the car, Eva’s jaw dropped to the floor as two expensive cars were waiting for them. She didn’t know the proper name ofthe car but she knew it was a very expensive, latest model, as she saw these cars on some ads
Soon, the journey got started. Eva was discerning the city. It was her first time in LA, and she was very excited while beholding the city.
Rose was glancing at her innocent face whenever she appreciated something. Rose could easily see her eyes sparkle like a kid who was discovering something unique. The drive ended when they reached the smith's place. To name it a house is an understatement, as it is no less than an estate
Eva again got nervous as she felt she didn’t fit in here, but she masked her anxiety and stepped down from the car. Two housekeepers were already waiting for them at the entrance of the houses. They politely greeted Rose and then Eva too. Eva just responded with a small hello.
“Kathy and Robert, this is Eva. Show her the guest room and make sure that she is comfortable there. Then she turns around to face Eva. “Sweetheart, get freshened up. Soon the dinner will be served. Ok “
"Ok," “Eva replied to Rose. Kathy escorted the way and followed her in slow steps as she was busy admiring the interior of the house, which is modern and everything from the carpet to the furniture, Chandler’s. Even the showpieces were precious. It scared Eva to even touch those delicate pieces.
Soon they reached in front of a room. Kathy opened the door for her and placed her trolley bag in the closet that was attached to the room.
“Should I bring something for you, mam?"
“No... thank you."
"Mam, if you need anything, please use the intercom and dial **, and someone will be here to attend to you.”
"Hmm, okay, thank you."
Kathy left her alone. She closed the door while retiring.
The guestroom amazed Eva as she gazed at it, with its cozy interior featuring a beautiful bed, matching carpets, bedside tables, lamps, and everything. Everything was expensive.
Eva kept her thoughts aside and decided to not get chronic to this type of lavish life, as she was here for only some months and then she would return to the place where she actually belonged. and it was the real heaven for her, it doesn’t matter that her room one-fourth of this room but still she loves her bedroom I town more.
She wanted to take a shower first, as she was tired from the journey, so she looked for the washroom. When she entered the washroom, her eyes got wide in surprise.
She witnessed the expensive bathroom. She squealed like a kid when she saw the bathtub, and she quickly removed her clothes and then entered the bathtub. After spending some time in the bathtub, she got ready in her usual clothes: a pair of trousers and a t-shirt.
When she was brushing her hair, a knock on the door disturbed her. It was Kathey who was here to call her for dinner. Eva made a quick, messy bun and left the room. Kathey was escorting her. The dining room was on the ground floor, close to the big living room.
When she reached the dining table, she found Rose and her husband, William Smith, who were busy in some conversation.
When Rose spotted Eva, “Come, dear, take a seat. Eva, meet William, my husband."
