They discharged Eva the same evening from the hospital; she was still using the wheelchair.
The doctor advised her to have bedrest and less movement of her foot as the wound is deep and will take time to heal.
When Eva reached the smith mansion, rose stopped near the stairs and ordered Stephen
“Stephen, pick her up and take her to her bedroom."
Stephen was shocked upon hearing this, whereas Eva became nervous and confused.

It surprised Eva to know this all. She just recalled that she hugged Stephen to save herself, but after that, she remembered nothing.
Stephen got more suspicious now, listening to her mother’s words, but he took care of it later than he already had a lot of work in hand
Stephen picked up Eva in a bridal style. His one hand was under her knees, and the other one was on her back. Eva squirmed a little in his arms. Yesterday she was so scared that she didn’t even bother about whom she was hugging too, but at this moment her body could feel the soft touch of his warm hands. Eva didn’t dare to look up at him. She kept her eyes down
Soon they enter her room, and a smile appears on Eva’s face as they arrange many beautiful flower bouquets in the room. She was busy adoring it, so she didn’t notice when Stephen laid her on the bed carefully and covered her with sheets.
