Story: My Tempting Woman
‘ , Don’t mind me asking, but I never saw you behave the way you acted in the morning , making piles of cupcakes. We are all worried for you but dad told us you behave like that in stress. Have you done this type of stunt before too? “
Eva pouted at his question and replied, “Dad was right whenever I felt stressed out and couldn’t calm myself. I used to bake cupcakes. It helps my temper.”
“Quite interesting; now I get it. If we want to eat baked yummy cupcakes, then we just have to give you stress, right?”
Eva gaped at his words, then pouted more and smacked on his arms, and Stephen chuckled at her actions. Stephen kissed on her forehead. At last he got his peace back.
Three months later
After that incident, Eva and Stephen got close to each other. The best part was that Eva started sharing her thoughts with Stephen. They used to spend the weekend at the farmhouse or with the family.
Eva was handling the business effortlessly. The board members were wondering about the way Eva was making a profit for their company.
In due course, the Hudson Group companies attained a higher level of success.
Harry always stood by her side, supporting her with every decision related to business. Although he didn’t stop remarking about the Smith family in between their work, Eva never gave ears to his words. So at last he stopped his attempts, as he was not seeing any harm from the Smith family or Eva; rather, his company's growth was attaining the height of success, which was commendable.
One morning, the news thrilled everyone as the Hudson group of companies made a name in the top 5 chain of hotels in LA.
The news excited the board members of the Hudson Group, as it was the same company that was bringing losses to them, and now they are making a good profit from it. They are all praising Eva, as she deserves it.
The Smiths family were also happy for Eva; they are proud of the way it turned Eva into a successful businesswoman
Stephen was feeling proud of his wife, who worked hard for this achievement. They all celebrated this day and reached a new restaurant, which belongs to Richard.
The dinner was going on a cheerful note. A few minutes later, Steve started the topic
“So mom and dad, what are you planning for your special day?
“Ooh yes, it’s your anniversary. It’s the day after tomorrow, so tell us how you want to celebrate it. You just have to say it. We will arrange other things, “Rihard asked
“What do you exactly mean by this? You people could go ahead with whatever you decide for? Did we ever stop you from doing anything?” Rose commented.
“Yeah, that’s true, but mom, we were just trying to make it clear. I mean, it’s your day. What if you want to spend some quality time with each other and not with all of us? So in that case, we will not bother you. “
Rose smacked on his arms at his tease and told him
“Shut it up! You fool! Don’t you have any shame in teasing us old people?"
“What’s wrong with spending quality time with your husband, mom? I am ok with this idea; unless you people are not planning another sibling for us, I will not bear another share inmy assets.'' Steve commented while eating, while others were shocked to listen to his blunt words. Rose blushed more, and poor William choked on his drink while Michael patted his back, suppressing his laugh.
“You display a complete lack of shame,” Rose exclaimed as she threw a napkin at Steve.
“Ignore him, mom; you tell me, how do you want to celebrate this day? “ Stephen also inquired, diverting the topic
“In that case, I think a small get-together will be fine, just our family and some close friends
I don’t want any extravagant celebration.”
“Ok then, as you wish, mom and dad, what do you have to say about this?”
“Whatever my wife wishes for, but today Rose, you offended me.”
“What and how?”
“You just called us old, which we are not.”
His words astonished Rose, and then she flashed a smile at him.
