Stephen arrived at his cabin. He gave a stern look at the guard.

He knew his mother was a sound sleeper; her medicines helped her retain sound sleep.
So he was not worried about her presence, and, however, he was going to tell her soon about Eva. Stephen got settled on the chair beside Eva’s bed. He slowly stroked her cheeks with the back of her palm
