No words escaped from Eva’s throat. She was stunned to know about his dad’s condition. Her dad was a hardworking man. She recalled no day when she saw her dad resting or enjoying the holiday, as he loves his work. If he was at home, he kept himself busy with other things.
But now how will her dad react to knowing about his condition? How is she going to take care of him?
Rose understood her pain and took her in a hug. "Eva, you have to be strong for your dad."
“Yes, and don’t worry about anything. We all are here with you, “Steve added
“But how will... dad bear this distress?”
“Michael is a very strong-headed person. I have known him for a long time. Upon receiving the news about your mother's illness, he showed decisiveness. He was confident in doing your upbringing all by himself. Trust me, he has always been a fighter, and he just proved that by escaping death in narrow encounter. “
William stated to Eva, on which she gave a nod to him
The next day, Michael regained his consciousness. The first word he whispered was Eva

Eva reached the ICU in slow steps. Pain filled Eva as she observed her father being surrounded by machines.
Eva kept her pain and called him softly
“Dad… “
Michael opened his eyes slowly, and a weak smile appeared on his face. Looking at his sunshine, he was trying to speak but Eva stopped him
"No, dad, don’t talk now. How are.. Are you feeling now? Don’t worry, you will be fine soon, and then we will return to our home. “
Eva completed with difficulty, holding her son

Soon as the nurse informed her to leave, Eva just placed a kiss on his hand. And leave the ICU with weak steps
Two days passed like this. Michael was still under observation. He used to keep his consciousness in between, but the sedatives were doing their work
On the third day, the doctor approved the shift of Michael to LA. Shortly after, they arranged an air ambulance, and the Smith family, along with the team of doctors, started their journey to LA.
During the day, Eva dozed off to sleep, as all these days it almost deprived her of sleep and food in a worry of her dad.
When Eva woke up, she noticed the surrounding and saw all the smith family members were on alert mode and were inquiring about Michael’s condition from the doctor
Eva was observing how William, Rose, Steve, and Stephen took care of her and her father all this time. She felt indebted by the way they are arranging all facilities for her and Michael
She could easily guess that all this needed a lot of money, but the Smith family never bothered about that.
Soon they landed in LA and admitted Michael to a multispecialty hospital so that he could get better treatment. Wiliam insisted Eva visit the Smith mansion and take some rest; he requested the same for his wife.
Eva was not ready to leave Michael alone, but Rose somehow made her agree. After all, did Michael not regain his full consciousness yet?
Eva first saw his dad, who was still lying on the hospital bed with all machines attached to him.
Rose and Eva started for the smithSteve and Stephen stayed until they returned.
Eva enters the Smith mansion and reaches her room. She first took a long shower, and then Rose arranged for her meal in her room.
Eva had some food, and she even doesn’t remember when she dozed off as she was too exhausted.
