The maid served lunch in her room. only as Stephen was busy in some video meeting in the study room. Eva read some cooking books which were already arranged for her in the room by Stephen and her favorite celebrity chef, Richard, put the books down
Eva dozed off for the rest of the day, and when she woke up in the evening, Stephen still had not returned to the room. Eva started getting bored, so she talked to her friends
She picked up her phone and started strolling on the beach She was walking while trying to get the signal for her phone
With her arms in the air, she chatted with her friends on the phone, then suddenly stumbled and hit the ground.
She soon realized that she was not on the sand. While two hands were holding her from her arms, Eva got uneasy at the realization as she actually fell into someone’s lap. She closed her eyes in embarrassment and wished for something.
But alas, it fulfilled not all wishes when she turned around and found Stephen giving her a teasing smile.
“Ooh God, Eva, Are you ok, dear?”
Eva jumps at the sound of Rose’s voice. She quickly sat on the place, which was again Stephen’s lap. She looked at the screen that was on the table, and Rose was watching the scene from the other side.
Yeah, Mom, it began last night, and she still won’t leave.
Rose giggled, whereas Eva gasped in horror. She glared at Stephen, on which he asked,
"No, my fault, love, you landed again on my lap."
Rose giggled more, whereas a shade of pink spread across Eva’s cheeks. Rose commented
“Oh my God, she is blushing, too. Enjoy your time, kids; I will not disturb you more. Bye, look after yourself.”
soon after, the call got disconnected
They heard a giggle, which startled the couple this time. Eva muttered
“Ooh shit!”
She looked for her phone, which was spotted near Stephen’s legs. She picked the phone and her three friends giggling at her
“It’s not what you are." Eva started with some clarification
“No, dear Eva, we didn’t have to assume anything, as we know now how much you love Stephen’s company. enjoy babies. And say hi to Stephen too. Bye “
Eva disconnected call and held her head with her hands
‘Are you planning to move, or would you prefer to remain sitting on my lap? I mean, I don’t mind though.”
Eva glared at Stephen, who just raised his eyebrow at her.
Chapter 50 Training
After the beach episode, Eva was frustrated with Stephen. Pretending like a happy couple is ok, but what’s the need to talk with Rose like that?
She ordered the maid to serve her meals in the bedroom only; she thought maybe Stephen would object or better insist her to join him on the meals, but to her surprise nothing happened like that.
At dinner time, she came to know that Stephen also asked his meals in
the office room
She uttered some colorful words in her mind for Stephen
After completing her dinner, Eva sat on the balcony of her room. Eva got settled on the swing and kept looking at the beautiful view of the sea.
After spending some time, she felt her eyes droop, so she wanted to sleep. The moment she entered the bedroom, she spotted Stephen, but what amazed her were his actions. Stephen was placing a pillow in a row-like wall in the center of the bed. “What are you doing?”
