The way she listed the names of the ingredients astonished me, and so did the family. I was sure that she was not missing anything, but soon it got confirmed when my friend Richard complimented her.
I was not aware of his presence in LA. Otherwise, we have also invited him to this dinner. I thought he was still in Australia working on some awful show. Before I could greet him, he introduced himself to Eva. Steve looked at me and murmured,
“Now Richard will have to face a lifetime of embarrassment."

I snickered at his comment as I thought the same but we both got shocked when Eva did the handshake and what I noticed was her blushing cheeks.
I and Steve were shocked and more confused why she behaved like this with Richard. I mean, he is handsome, a bachelor too but today, I was the one who used to earn female attention first but even Eva made an exception in this.
But soon we had all the answers as Eva started her fangirl moment with Richard about how much she loves Richard’s work, whether it’s his books or their shitty show.
That moron named Richard was enjoying her praise, but when he taunted me for not appreciating his work, and as usual I snapped at him, my girl chastised me; it was more than I could take.
“Really?” I asked her in my bitter tone. I deliberately used my stern tone to see how far she could go with this, but to everyone’s relief, Richard handled the situation as my friend. He knows from my tone how anxious I was. And so the dinner, which I thought to be a pleasant one, ended as the most dreadful dinner of my life.
I poured the drink into my glass as I couldn’t forget those moments when Eva was talking to Richard—the way her eyes were looking at him with so much affection. And interest—the blush on her cheeks when Richard complimented her. I couldn’t bear that I always get what I want, and it was the first time that my heart craved for a girl, so she was mine, all mine.
I will win her no matter whether I have to face my best friend or my brother, but one thing is for sure: Eva Johnson belongs to me and only me
When I was enjoying my second drink while I heard some kind of d from my balcony, it was a long time that I entered that balcony as it was facing the backside of my house, I mean the poolside. Eva wore her swimsuit. She was glad that Sara advised her to pack this costume with her clothes when she was packing
Soon she reached the backyard and slowly slipped off the robe and dipped her foot first in the water to check the water temperature. To her delight, it was perfect—not too cold nor too warm. Then she didn’t waste time and jumped into the pool.
She was enjoying the water touching her body. She kept enjoying herself in the water for a beneficial time, but she remembered she had college tomorrow, so she got out of the pool and wore her bathrobe.
A sudden glass-breaking sound astounded Eva. When she was in the pool, she felt someone‘s gaze on her. Still, she shrugged at the thought, believing it was a hallucination. But now, listening to the glass-breaking sound, she was sure that someone was watching her
The thought was enough to make her sick, and she bolted her room
