Story: My Tempting Woman
"Yes, did you forget about the bet and the prize? Don’t tell me you forget about the winner too. “
Stephen let out a taunting way. It’s not that Eva forgot about the thing, but whatever occurred today made her more scared of Stephen. And in these circumstances, she was not even willing to stay near Stephen, but her luck was going against her.
"Eva, why are you looking so tense? It’s ok, dear, if you don’t want to go. William meddled in between
“No, it’s ok. Tomorrow is fine for me too."
Eva stated in her soft yet confident tone. Rose inquired again
“Are you sure, dear? We understand you are already worried about your friend’s condition. So it’s fine. I mean, Stephen could arrange this dinner date on some other day.
“Rose, it’s better I should fulfill my commitments before I leave from here. As you know, I will return to my town soon. “ Rose gave a nod at her
“Very well then; tomorrow night be ready at 8.00, “Stephen told her in his firm tone
That night, when Eva reached her room, the first thing she did was to connect the call to Sara, as she wanted to share her misery with Sara
Eva knows her dad will not believe her distrust of Stephen, as he will ask for some valid proof, and there is no evidence of this.
The moment Sara picked up the call, Eva started sobbing badly, which made Sara panic. After crying her heart out, Eva started detailing the situation to Sara
Sara was also frightened to know whatever happened with Robinson. But for now, she has to handle Eva too
“Calm down, dear; we don’t have any evidence that Stephen is behind all this."
“Don’t you understand my words, Sara? It’s him and only him who else has so much authority to thrash a man than pay him a good amount of money, pay for the medical bill, and don’t forget about that threat part.”
“Okay, I still agree with you. Now what are you going to do? I mean, about that
“What else? I will go for dinner with him, but this time I decided I will leave this city the day after tomorrow. I am coming back to my. Home, I don’t want to stay here anymore.
“But what about your dad? I mean, will he allow you to return it all alone?”
“I will notify dad that I am not feeling comfortable here, and I know my dad will understand the gaps."
“Ooh! Okay then, but Eva, I am still feeling scared for you. Just take care of you, dear.
And don’t worry, you can stay with me until Uncle’s return. And I will talk to Uncle to support you."
“Thanks a lot, babe; I am feeling much better after talking with you. Good night, dear.“
Eva tried to get some sleep as she needed some nap for her body and for the peace of her mind as she had to face the devil the next day
The next morning, Eva reached for the breakfast table with a confident face. She tried hard to hide her nervousness with a smile. Whereas Stephen could feel her nervous form, but he decided tonight he would try to keep his behavior calm and composed so that she couldn’t get scared of him. And if everything went the way he wished, then he would not waste time to propose to her. As he has not much time left in hand, Michael will return in some days. This episode of Robinson has given a lesson to him that her girl is getting a lot of attention nowadays, not to forget about her safety, as Hudson already knew about the will and they don’t know what they are planning to do with Eva.
Rose bought a beautiful dress for Eva. Actually, it was Stephen who arranged this dress for Eva.
Eva got ready in the evening. She just applied some light makeup. Ea doesn’t want the Smith family to doubt herintentions. She just wants to end this dinner on a cheerful note, and tomorrow she is going to make an excuse for one of her friends’ poor health and will leave for town. Eva was sure that the Smith family would not doubt her and let her leave, especially Stephen. She was determined that Stephen should not learn that she knew about his interest in her.
At the time Stephen arrived to pick her up, soon they started for the hotel. Upon reaching the place, the staff guided them to the restaurant. The opulent restaurant did not take aback Eva, as she had expected something of this sort from Stephen. The decorations were perfect for a romantic date, which made Eva skeptical; still, she tried to hide her nervousness behind her calm face.
.
Stephen kept observing her face. Her eyes didn’t spark looking at the arrangements as they used to before. He was furious at the staff for making her woman disappointed by these types of decorations. Still, he kept his anger aside, as his one wrong move would destroy his plan. After reaching the table, he pulled the chair for her. Eva got settled on the chair, whispering a small thank you to Stephen
Stephen got settled on the opposite side of the table, and Eva was thankful for this distance, but the next moment his passionate stare on her made her uncomfortable, looked at Stephen, who passed a smile to her and Eva returned the smile
Stephen fake coughed and then started the talk
