Story: My Tempting Woman
Chapter 28 Unexpected
The next morning Stephen had to attend an important meeting in his office so he could not get a glimpse of Eva but still he had to notify his mom about something important
“Mom, I keep away the reporters near our house, but still, it will be better if Eva avoids going out for some days.
“I will try to make her understand."
Stephen gave a nod to his mother and left for his work.
When Eva reached the dining room with a gloomy face, her eyes were puffy and red because of crying so much.
Smith couple felt bad looking her miserable condition, steve decided to cheer her up
“Good morning, sweetheart. How are you feeling now? “
'Ok, “Eva replies in low voice
“You know yesterday you broke my delusion. I used to believe that in this family it’s only me that has the aura of providing spicy news to the media and people are eager to learn about me
But the way people are responding to your news. Gosh! You made me jealous, girl."
Eva gave a weak smile at him. Eva's attire for her classes caught Rose's attention.
“Eva, are you going to your classes today?“
“Yes, actually I missed a lot of classes already because of this injury, so...”
“I can understand that, but still it will be better if you avoid these classes for some more days and don’t worry about your missed topics, as I will tell Richard to help you. And Stephen especially instructed me that it will be better for you to stay at home."
Listening to Stephen‘s name, Eva felt a rage building inside her, as the sole reason for this misunderstanding was Stephen. Andshe was eager to know that after so much, he was still trying to order her around. So she went against his words
“I know, but I really want to go today and don’t worry, the guards will take good care of me."
ok."
Eva finished her breakfast and then started for her classes. Shortly after she reached her classes, the bodyguard was following her inside the premises. Eva felt everyone’s eyes on her, pointing fingers at her and then giggling with their friends., whispering some comments to each other while looking at her.
She tried to avoid their reactions and soon entered her class, and the reaction of her classmates was not any different either. But before they could start gossiping around her, the class got started., and Eva was glad about it.
During the lunch break, the girls started their chats a little loudly so that it could be audible to Eva
“Look at her; who will say that she is the girl who trapped the most desired businessman of LA?“
“Yes, but how did she do it? I mean, Stephen Smith is a heartless devil. He never made news for his linkups or hookups.”
“I always had a doubt about her as she has no style, no class, but still she travels in expensive cars and what to say about the guards. I used to wonder about how she could afford this. but now we all know how she afforded these privileges. “
Harry was listening to all this with a hard face. It also shocked him to know about Eva and Stephen Smith. He also noticed Eva’s lifestyle, the expansive cars, and the bodyguard, but not in his dreams he thought she was involved with Smiths. Harry knew Eva was staying with them as he spotted her in the restaurant that day with the Smith family.
But looking at her down-to-earth nature and her simplicity, he was sure that she must be a guest to them
Eva’s eyes filled with tears. She doesn’t want to show herself weak, so she tried to hide her miserable state. Harry noticed it all, so at last he lashed out at the classmates
"Stop it. Don’t you all have something constructive to do other than peek at Eva‘s private life? Whom is she dating? Why is she dating? It doesn’t matter to you. Now just let her live in peace."
Eva gave a grateful look at Harry, who gave a nod to her. He settled beside her and passed her some coffee and placed some papers in front of her.
“This is the work that you missed. Iyou, too.”
