Story: My Tempting Woman
. Eva always got uncomfortable around his formidable aura. He hardly speaks at first. Eva thought him to be dumb, but when she saw him speaking, listening to his impersonal voice and strict tone, she believed it’s a blessing that he spoke less.
A sudden voice made her nervous. She could hear some footsteps in the study room, so she did what she thought was right. She hid behind the couch. Soon the lights switched on and Eva held her breath
As time elapsed, she remained unaware of any further approaching footsteps. She attempted to observe cautiously from the rear of the couch. However, a startled cry escaped her lips upon discovering Stephen's presence, seated on the couch and looming over her. Before she could make any physical movement, Stephen promptly positioned her on his lap.
Eva started wiggling her legs to get out of his hold. Which didn’t bother Stephen. He stood up and settled on the chair and started with his work. The fragile girl got tired from her continuous efforts, so she requested him in a low tone.
.“Sorry. … I will not do this again. Please let me go.”
Stephen kept doing his work without even responding to her. Eva started murmuring in the low voice, “The staff left my envelope here. I was just here to collect that. Let me go, please. I assure you I stole nothing . “
All her pleadings were going to deaf ears. Stephen kept doing his work on a laptop. With a stern look on his face, Eva fell asleep on his lap, her head resting on his chest. After half an hour, Stephen wrapped up his work and exited the study room with Eva, who was sleeping in his arms. When he reached the first floor, he entered the guest room. He laid her down on the bed and tucked her properly with the comforter.
He gazed at Eva with an abundance of affection. Stephen received a notification from the bodyguard assigned to Eva, stating that Eva had been looking upset all day. Stephen knew that this was all new for her, but it was necessary, too.
Stephen attentively studied the visage of the enchanting young woman who held enormous importance to him, though he could not articulate these emotions in the present moment. He firmly resolved in his mind that Eva is solely his. Prior to making his intentions known to his parents or the public, he desires to capture her affection and reciprocate the same emotions he once had for her.
“My dear, you were mistaken to believe that you have stolen nothing as you have already taken possession of my heart, as there is no turning back from this point.”
Chapter 14: Gift for her crush
Sunrays were sneaking into Eva's bedroom. Eva initially consulted her phone to find out the time, prompting her recollection of the events from the previous night, during which she found herself in Stephen's embrace. She then pondered how she had made her way back to her own bedroom. Was I placed in my room by him?
How foolish of me to sleep in such a manner. I ponder the thoughts he may have regarding me.
Suddenly, a message beeped on her phone. It was from her dad
“I hope you signed the documents till now; just courier it asap
I am giving you the address.
Eva’s eyes are wide now. How could she find the envelope? She must ask Stephen in order to find it, as she must havealready irritated him by entering his study room without his permission.
A knock on the door disturbed her thought; she heard Kathey shouting from another side, “Mam, Rose, madam is waiting for you on the breakfast table."
“Let her know I am on my way.”.
Stating that Eva was rushing to her washroom, she rapidly completed her morning routine and soon entered the living room. It was the first time Eva’s eyes were searching for Stephen, as she has to first apologize to him and then request him for the envelope
But it was looking like a bad day for her, as she only found Rose, who was waiting for her
“Good morning, dear."
“Good morning, Rose."
“Now come on, let’s start with your breakfast; otherwise, you will be late, and then I don’t want you to leave empty stomach, ok?”
Eva gave a smile at her care and started with her breakfast, but she didn’t have any interest in the food that was served on her plate as her mind was searching for suitable words to ask Rose about Stephen and then the envelope. To be honest, it scared her first to face Rose. What if Stephen had complained about her to Rose?, precisely that she was invading his privacy. But looking at rose’s smiling face, she was sure that rose knew nothing about her activities last night
Eva finished her breakfast halfheartedly. She was still going through a dilemma about whether to ask Rose.
The moment she finished her breakfast, Rose kept an envelope in front of her
"Stephen came across this misplaced envelope in his study and requested that I deliver it to you. Richard highlighted its significance earlier today. So just signed and then I will courier it."
Tears of happiness brimmed in Eva’s eyes. She quickly signed the documents and passed them along with the address to Rose
“Thank you so much, Rose."
