Steve winked at Eva, and she gave a smile at him. William smiled the way Steve made the atmosphere light for Eva, but he was upset by Stephen ‘s absence when Eva needed him by her side.
Eva reached the room and changed into her nightdress. She was trying to get some sleep, but after lots of tossing and turning, she gave up. Eva checked the balcony of the room, as she had never been there.
Eva entered the balcony and the view of the swimming pool brought a smile to her face, so she wished to swim for a while. Maybe it will help her get some sleep tonight.
Few minutes later she was standing at the poolside in her swimwear. She didn’t waste time and took a dive in the pool.
The touch of cold water made her shiver for some moments, but then her body got used to the water temperature and Eva started enjoying it.
After swimming for some time, she was resting at the edge of the pool as she was not willing to get out of the water.. She liked his swimming session to calm her anxiety.
Suddenly she felt two muscular arms holding her from her waist. She knew Stephen was just behind her
Stephen nuzzled his nose on her shoulder blade and told her,
“Not fair, someone is enjoying without me,”
Eva chuckled at his words and turned around to face him. She noticed him in his shirt and trouser. Stephen gave a smile at her and then captured her soft lips with his warm ones
Eva’s toes curled, feeling his warm lips on her as she responded to the kiss with equal passion.
Stephen broke the kiss and then hugged her. He kissed her hair and asked her,
“Eva, are you upset with me?
“No. But why are you even asking this? “
“I know I must have been with you when dad left , but what to do as my work pressure...
“It’s ok, I
“ Trust me, I tried hard to stop Dad, but he did not want to listen to any words. So I relocated him to a place near us, fulfilling his wish and allowing us to take care of him as well.
“I know how it must be; I know my dad. “
“Hmm, come now, let’s get to our room as it’s getting cold here and of course, we have a long night tonight, wife."
Eva blushed at his bold words and gave a nod to him. Stephen helped Eva get out of the pool and soon they entered their room.
While Stephen was changing his clothes, Eva got settled on the bed. A message tone on her phone took his attention, and she checked her phone.
“So at last Michael Johnson is thrown out of the Smith house; you will be the next one.”
Chapter 63: His passion
Eva’s eyes remained fixed on the message displayed on her phone screen. She attempted to investigate and determine the sender of this terrible message, but she was unsuccessful in finding any leads. In irritation, she just switched off the phone and threw it on the side table.
Despite her efforts to stay positive, Eva’s day took a turn for the worse. The day began with a heated argument with Harry, which left her feeling upset and then things got worse when her dad moved out and lived in another house. She went for a swimming session in order to clear her mind and relax. However, her attempt was short-lived as she received a message that ruined her mood once again.
