“So, do you think you and Nic are going to make it official,” Graham asked.
Graham had texted him the day before asking if he wanted company, and Jai had quickly accepted. He had yet to make a lot of friends, and Graham was proving to be a good one.
Jai took a sip of his lemonade, before putting the glass back on the table. He nibbled on his bottom lip, unsure of how to answer the question.
“Uhh, did your brother say something to you?” Jai asked, fishing. He knew Nickolas loved him, the man showed him so every day, but he had yet to mention anything about marriage.
“No, I was just asking… the both of you already act married, with the goo goo eyes and the ‘I love you’s and the never keeping your hands off each other. You live together, you’re about to make me an uncle. So I figured, you know… wedding bells would be the next logical step.”
Jai sighed and slumped in his seat, “Nothing would make me happier than to be officially called Nickolas’ omega. I want him to be my alpha more than anything, but he hasn’t asked, you know. And I don’t want to push him before he’s ready.”
“Oh, honey. My brother would be an idiot not to want to marry you. And Nic is a lot of things, but an idiot isn’t one of them,” Graham said.
“You think,” Jai asked, hopefully.
“I know,” Graham said, certainty in every word.
“Well, I sure hope so,” Jai said on a sigh.
He was already seven months pregnant and they lived together. Jai should have been satisfied with that. But he wasn’t, he wanted to marry his alpha, claim him before god and everyone else, so that Nickolas belonged to him, forever and always.
“I know so,” Graham said, before picking up his lemonade. If Jai hadn’t been deep in thought, he would have noticed the Cheshire Cat grin on Graham’s face as he looked at Jai.

Jai was sittingin the rocking chair in the now completed nursery after Graham left. He was reading to the twins, because he had read somewhere that it was a way to bond with his babies before they were born, and Jai was pretty sure they loved hearing his voice.
“You look like you should be in one those paintings done by the old masters. So beautiful and ethereal.” Nickolas said from the doorway, making Jai’s head snap up and a smile cross his face.
“You’re home. I didn’t hear you come in.” Jai said.
“Yea, I just got in though. How was your day?” Nickolas asked as he walked into the nursery and over to Jai, placing a kiss on his upturned face.
“Graham and I had a good day. It’s always wonderful when he comes to visit.” Jai said wistfully, “How was your day though?”
Nickolas searched Jai’s face for a moment before asking, “Is everything okay, babe?”
Jai sighed, he couldn’t hide anything from the man, could he? “I’m just a little lonely you know. I have so much time on my hands, and I’m not sure what to do with it.”
“Well, that’s going to change soon enough when the babies come. I bet we have the opposite conversation soon.” Nickolas replied.
“You’re probably right,” Jai conceded.
“But that’s not it, is it?” Nickolas asked.
“It’s just, I have no friends, and Graham hinted about returning to Europe after our babies are born.” Jai shared.
“Oh, sweetie. I never thought about you being lonely.” Nickolas said.
“I could never be really lonely, I have you, but maybe I should find a way to make some other omega friends. Maybe some with kids.” Jai said.
“Whatever you want baby, we’ll see what we can do, okay?”
Jai tilted his face up for another kiss, and Nickolas obliged, placing a soft kiss on his lips. Jai opened for Nickolas, yielding to his alpha. He broke the kiss, tugging at Nickolas shirt, trying to take it off, “I need you, babe. Please, I need you in me inside me, right now.”
